@HugFan Playing as first person is realistic, it's like playing as a human being as you call it. Developers who prefer first person view doesn't mean they lack talent. Third person is acceptable at games, but first person is always better. Also, third person view is like cheating because you can view behind corners.

I play RtCW again and it's a great experience like it was back in the day. Today's shooters stink, we need to return to the roots of pc gaming. Crap of duty should die or change direction or customers should just stop bying this idiocy to force developers move into the right direction.

@Random_Matt

Always PC kicks a console's ass. Too bad these games tend to be too short though.

They put the bar too high and they get frustrated even if they sell millions of copies, ungrateful and unorganized industries, they can't even schedule an economic model on how a project will cost and therefore determine a realistic number of sales.

@Warlord_Irochi @foojam They are greedy because they release console only games but personally, i don't care about those games at all. They are a piece of cake in terms of difficulty, like you play a simple flash game. This exactly proves my point, that they care only for money, not for quality. They could care for both, but they don't and part of the fault lies to the casual "gamers". When they release multiplatform titles, it's still the same for most games, so greed applies for both cases.

@thequickshooter @foojam You're right but i am just pointing out the current status in the market. Civ cannot be appealing to console owners indeed but so many other games suffer from having simplified mechanics nowadays.

PC must prevail against the "consolization" that developers try to achieve in all games. Civ is a title that helps PC in that way. But i miss the old days when pc games were ruling the market, with a variety of titles from so many developers. Damn consoles and casual gamers. And damn greedy developers.

Always online is doomed, although it seems a trend right now. And this next gen consoles, high end pcs make me laugh, there is no such thing, they say it to sell the new shitty consoles, today we have the best graphics we could see.
