This is kind of a weird question. My personal belief is that I do not believe in god. Does this mean I want him to exist or to not exist? No. If I wanted him not to exist, it would be for no other reason than to say "Ha ha religious folk, you are wrong". If there is a higher power in the universe, so be it. I would never presume to attempt to understand it's nature or intent in anything.

Also, if there is a god, who says that automatically means there is a heaven and hell? Maybe whatever being exists simply created existence to watch it run and could not care less about what we do with it. And who says he didn't create aliens on other worlds to try and get multiple glimpses into what his creations were capable of? People need to realize that no matter what you believe or want others to believe, it changes nothing at the end of the day, so let everyone have their own beliefs and be happy.

Also also, there is no way to create any forum that poses any kind of preferential question without getting a heated debate, it's just the way it goes.
