If I'm interested enough to ask about people's experience with them and am considering buying one, clearly exterior looks is something I've already considered and am fine with. Also, they're not grandmother cars, they're small, inexpensive, practical cars that plenty of people drive. If I wanted looks, I'd stick with the Mustang that's draining my pockets.

when you think about it, there is nothing better than school for meeting people your age. The mall i guess is winner # 2... Wherever you want to meet someone DONT DO IT ONLINEWitchsight

Yeah, I'm going to concur with that. I moved during the summer when I was in high school, and it made meeting people pretty hard, wasn't until summer ended that it changed. I would guess the mall, just remember that people aren't as receptive as they were when you were in Elementary School. Good luck to ya friend.

Trying to keep it around $18k with good gas mileage and decent space. Not really into the new Civic that much, and the three big japanese hatchbacks (Fit, Versa, Yaris) don't really do much for me either.

The new civic is really cheap on gas, I would pay the extra.

It's not an issue of a Civic being any more expensive, I just don't really want a Civic

Could you be more constructive? Site a reason, or alternative, perhaps?

They look like somthing my grandmother would drive.

Ok, so, still not so contructive. Is there anyone out there who can actually answer the question, of having experiences with any of these? Like, who have ACTUALLY driven them?

"That's what she said" is far funnier than "your mom". It takesa better sense of timing and discretion on knowing the perfect opportunity to use it.

You're a freshman in high school, what do you expect? Dry, witty, urbane humor? No, 'your mom' is about all the comedic genius you can expect a 13-14 year old to muster. Fear not, it doesn't last forever.
