Yeah, you can take cover and only have an aimer if you go into a over-the-shoulder view... but theres less simulatirties between that and two fps's. The fighting in Uncharted and Gears is really quite different, especially since you don't have a chainsaw gun in Uncharted =P

Heh. More or less what I was thinking. I remember a similar deal with Fable. It was a good game, but nowhere near as great as it was hyped to be. But, then there were a lot of comments afterward like "Fable 2, on the other hand is going to be awesome!". No lesson learned after Fable and Black and White about taking whatever Peter Molyneux says with a gigantic grain of salt?

The first Killzone was all right, but nowhere near the Halo killer it was hyped to be. I'm hoping the second will be an improvement, but I take none of this "Killzone 2 will be teh awesome" seriously.

Which is why Fable 2 isn't being hyped as much, before I got the internet, I borrowed Fable from my friend, it was an awesome game, however, once I found all the promises that were made on how it was going to be (300+ hours story driven gameplay etc), it was easy to see how people could confuse dissapointment with a bad game.

Think about it...Lair was hyped as well, and Warhawk is getting more attention than it deserves....all of these games are made by Sony, and obvioiusly have no potential to them. The same thing happened with Socom. Its just nothing new.

Keep an eye out for that orange diamond sony symbol on the game cases. it means its poisoned.

Ok, it aint bad, but to me its nothing new as I used to be hooked on battlefield 2 mc and its very similar to me. and the ranks are confusing. and every muthafucin time i open the ps store, or look at the info box, i see WARHAWK OMEGA DAWN THE BEST THING EVER IN PS3 HISTORY BUY NOW TONS OF FUN. thats all i see. but ill give it to you, out of lair and killzone, and justabout every other sony game, it is good.

Uncharted is new! are you kidding me....the cover feature, the odd jungle and francis drake storyline, the aiming feature, the graphics(of course), the epic puzzles, the amazing fighting **** (brutal combos,etc) with the brutal combos and all that...also the next gen feature in many games of health regeneration instead of having to search for first-aid kits or floating crosses. What game is like that?

If you were watching a video, it probably had a low bitrate, like gametrailers... the trailers there for 720p are 3mbps video.... yet for good quality in SD you need AT LEAST 6mbps, so 720p should be 12mbps or so... which means videos from the internet are usually crappy... unless you weren't looking at a video, but then again if it was a .jpg it could have very lossy compression, or Killzone 2 could be blurry, but from what I've seen, it isn't.... god damnit I hate gametrailers and their crappy bitrates...

See the blurriness? But then again I wont judge fully until the final thing, and I do hope they have a demo.

Tekken as far as i know isnt, Namco owe it to Sony, but Namco own the IP can choose whoever they want to publish it, even themselves seeing as they have more than enough resources to do so

Dead or Alive on a ps3 would be a better example.

I personaly enjoy Killzone way more then Halo. I like the setting and the feel of the game. To me the only prob in the game was the horiible texture load up and the snipper was hard to work with thats it. I was in love with this gameand I cant wait for part 2. Thats why I hype it because I loved the first one.

I also hate when people say this game did nothing new when the only thing Halo introduced was rechargable health.

Why does everything have to turn into a competion? If people want something like Halo then go by a god damn xbox 360...The only reason to hype this game is to have another solid title on the PS3...Heavenly Sword is supose to be an amazing game but people are afraid of forking one 60 bucks for 6 hours of gameplay....I am one of those people....but it doesnt take away from the story, graphics or gameplay....Just enjoy KZ2 when it comes out....BTW, Killzone 1 wasnt too bad, its just that since it was so hyped up from the very beginning when it came out people thought it would be a superb fps shooter but it was nothing more then a regular one, that was still kind of fun....rahul_batta
