ok, as fast as i put my topic up it got locked. goes to show you how gamespot is being runed these days. It followed all the rules and got locked right away. To answer the only post it got, ill prolly visit the forums still on here. But i don't trust the reviews now. Ill watch the hd trailers and decide for myself.

Being a long term member of gamespot for many years now i've been getting frustrated with a few things about it now. One big thing is the lack of HD videos for members. I watch these videos to decide for myself if i want to spend my hard earned money on it but all i have access to is these low quality videos. This as been really ticking me off alot. I since then found this site http://www.gametrailers.com/for all my HD needs.

Now was bothering me for a long time then i read on my faviorte news site this article http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/news/2007/11/30/hack-fired-negative-game-review

I then came here to see what the community had to say on the issue. I've came to the conclusion that this site as finally sold out to Corporate Sponsors, it makes since to me totally. Gamespot fired JeffGerstmann, and this is the story that makes the most since. There was some hype over his review of the kane & lynch game, and what makes since is the company sponsored Gamespot thousands, and jeff stood his ground on the review he posted and got can'd they then realized that if word got out why he got fired they would loose all cred. They then paid him off to shout his mouth and he had to accept cause he is prolly out job hunting now and needed the money and it was prolly an amount you would be out of your mind not to accept. The next stage of the cover will begin with false rumors, saying it was is language or attitude when we all see and hear the f word all over tv at all times of the day. All they have to do is put up "program contains mature language" and that gets there butt covered. I don't think it was that was the reason he got fired at all. The rumors will then fly on prolly made by site officials adding accounts with a high level site rating with the intent of diluting the truth until its members will forgive and forget what as happened. This will be true with 60-70 percent of the members here.

My final bug with this site is again the HD videos being locked to paying members, i mean comeon! HD space and Bandwidth are dirt cheap these days. I can only imagine how much hard drive space sites like youtube & facebook have and this site don't give us members HD? For only 2 min clips on games? I mean seeing as they are letting Corporate sponsors here do the firing and hiring now days think they would have the money for it.

I'm leaving here as of today to sign up to http://www.gametrailers.com/, in time hopefully they will get more organized like gamespot and stick with being non-bias like jeff was trying to do. If they do sell out at least i will still have access to HD trailers unlike here. I'm also going to check up www.gamerevolution.comto see what they are all about.

Fairwell gamespot, i did enjoy my time spent here. I'm not saying i will never come back but it won't be till at least i get access to the HD trailers.

Please feel free to let others know about other good sites to try if you agree with what i said. I know some will disagree with me but this is what i feel is right.

Ever since Square And Enix merged things have been going down hill for rpgs for me. FFX was one of my fav games that as came out in the 21st centry, FFXII was way to big with too much to do most of the time and i didn't enjoy it nor beat it. Before that my fav wa FFIII (US). It had a good story and really enjoyed it. I've abandoned the sony platform now and picked up a 360. I'm kinda hoping Mass Effect does well. Everything is blood and guts with no real great story. I'd love a chance to direct and create a game for everyone. I think i could make something we are all missing out on these days.

Is it me or as all the video's and images i've been watching not what Halo 3 was supposed to be? Looking at the images i see soft shaders but it don't seem soft enough, the shadows need to be a little more softer on the edges.

Ground texture and bump mapping isn't really up to todays standards, is it just me?

Gameplay is the same as before and the physics don't seem right unless the gravity is lower, i didn't mind it in Halo & Halo 2 but this is Halo 3!

I can't comment on the story line yet but i hope it makes up for all my other disappointments. The player character geometry looks the same as before! Any comments on what i have been saying?

a lot of system of a down songs make more sense then you think. open your mind, think for yourself. they use a lot of metaphors, and they dont tell you how to think. it allows for the song to mean what you think it does. you have to look for key phrases throughout the song in order to pick up its meaning.

I was going to say alcohol, but I guess it's not that kind of topic.

So I said camera, I love taking pictures, especially of my drunken friends lol.

Laws are different for each country, so i agree that it isa border issue..

If people downloading stuff from the internet bothers you, then the only thing you can do it don't do it yourself. The only reason it bothers you is people like us end up spending a lot of money for games and movies and such, while they get it for free.

But it doesn't bother me, the inernet should not be controlled.
