After a few days of exciting online play with BF's demo I'm astonished at the amount of cooperative play I've witnessed. Unlike the genre's current top dog Modern Warfare 2, there is an exquisite element of team work associated with BF. Teamwork is integrated into the system through a point system which rewards team play. Large scale maps make it counter-productive to try and be Rambo, though there are plenty of moments you do get, that offer comparable adrenaline pumping action, which the throat yanking war vet receives on a constant basis. Plain in simple. If you uphold all the truly righteous facets of a progressive Fps: realism, gritty immersion, tactical game play and a comradeship between you and you're teammates this game will be for you. I don't see how next generation MW could not cop a feel off some of the innovative things Battlefield is doing. If you never played Battlefield now is the time to give it a good try.
