Nintendo is using the DS platform until they can anymore. I traded my old DS for a DS Lite, and I thought that would be the last of the DS, the Lite. But Nintendo, being like Sony, are going to use the DS like it's a PS2. I hope there is not going to be another DS. But get that DS Lite! You can always get a new one when it comes out.
First of all, a PAWN SHOP? What next, buy aspirin from a drug dealer? When you go used, don't go to the most used you can possibly get on the planet. I went to a pawn shop and they get their prices from eBay. At least go to a video game store.
Second, you will have to tell us more. What messages do you get when you try to play a game? When you check your PSP Firmware (Go to Settings>System Settings>System Information and tell us EXACTLY what version it is. Basically type everything you see on that screen (except the Mac Address) and DO NOT change anything or exclude any characters.
