the real question is, how is it that star ocean with its switching discs and long cutscenes get points docked off, but the uber MGS4 with its 2 minute install to change acts and 1 hour cutscenes get a perfect 10?

double standard much?

well props to Gamespot for waiting on thier reviews of games like KZ2 and not getting exclusive reviews and putting them out a month early like IGN.

[QUOTE="Joust_"]

30-40 minute long cutscenes?

More like Star Ocean: The Last Movie right?

st1ka

and that's when my hype for the game died :?

lol, this isn't MGS4 where 80 percent of the game came from the cutscenes.

You get a solid 40 hours of gameplay, not 3 hours.

well john carmack, a rocket scientist and founder of ID, said the 360 is by far superior to the PS3.

Read the review, aside from the same obvious flaws that every JRPG seems to have (U.S. voice work) the game got a glowing review.

Looks like another good JRPG

cows always get the short end of the stick.

1. sub par ports

2. timed exclusives (still waiting on last remnant lol)

3. no exclusive dlc

4. day and date release of precious franchies

i guess this explains why they are so defensive and militant

exactly, its not overpriced.

its just that gamers know which system is the best one for them, just like they did back then for PS1, PS2, and SNES.

Wii is doing great because it provides a new way to play games that people want

360 is doing great because it provides great games with great online and games of all genres (specifically JRPGS which the ps3 is lacking)

PS3 isn't doing so great because its a blu ray player that plays games, at least thats the way it was marketed for the first 2 years of its life.

games was 2nd to blu ray according to sony, and gamers treated it as such, that is why only 1 game was in the top 20 in the last NPD

[QUOTE="Brainkiller05"]They're always better on PC. LunchBox-

lol joke post i hope.

You pay for quality. On ps3 every game is on Blu-ray and is up to a certain standard. so you have to pay for that luxury.

on pc and 360 people ship broken games and then make excuses like "oh, we will patch it" and then theirs piracy. so its cheap.

lol, blu ray makes games require mandatory 5gb installs because of its 2x drive.

do you guys know anything about business?

what is MS suppose to do? let rare continue to make non compelling games like PDZ and viva pinata?

restructuring is the best thing to do, unlike what the govt is doing with thier automobile bailout.
