That's another review with a score of 8/10 but no "the bad". I personally would not give a game anything less than 10/10 if I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
@bruno321 @Kevin-V @bunchanumbers It would be really nice seeing the reviewer himself defend his positions and not having senior staff members come and do it for him.
This is incredibly surprising, coming from Retro Studios. Then again, "playing it safe" doesn't necessarily mean "bad" and Gamespot of late have had an obsession with originality and innovation being the only factor in scoring a game high. Arkham Origins got 6 as well and wasn't a terrible game.
I enjoy Flappy Bird. It is a pure gameplay experience. It's structure is based entirely on skill, not luck of random draws, or the amount of money you can pump into it. It's like Hill Climb Racing, only much harder.
