SFIV is the same on both systems. Using small ass textural differences you can only see by pausing the game, and pulling out binoculars will always be trumped by the fact that the PS3 dpad is 100X better than 360 one. And, how many people are gonna dish out like $50-100 on a joystick? Whatever, i didnt buy the game,,, paying $60 for a fighting game is absurd to me. This isnt 1993
you can tell how console ish a person is by how many sports games they play. seriously, buy an n64 with mario tennis and blitz, those are the only 2 sports games you'll ever need.paullywog
I get the feeling a lot of people on gaming forums are not the athletic types. And sorry, nothing beats playing FIFA, NHL or any sports game with buddies over. When you play a FPS online with other friends.. it can rival that feeling.. but you're not in the same room (split screen blows) and you're always playing with a bunch of other randoms. I almost bought a 360 over a PS3 just because FIFA and Pro Evo were exclusive to 360 for a year. Almost.

True, Sony does announce games early, but because of that We're all confident in the future of our console. Theres like 7 great AAAE potential exclusives in the next 12 months. Microsoft announces late, but you wouldnt really be that confident about your future as its up in there. Also, Gears 2 and Fable 2 were 360s biggest exclusives in holiday 08... and both were announced by this time last year.

And yet a $250 console sells more than a $200 console when it's clearly inferior.
Nobody wants the PS3. That's why it doesn't sell.
Sony should adopt the 360 mindset of releasing a seriously gimped $250-200 console,, call it the PS3 Lite and then let the ignorant consumers buy it, and soon realize they need to spend another $100-150 to get what they thought came with it.
2 words for you back catalogue. It has got a good back catalogue of games. and im sure there will be plenty of games comming out to keep any gamer amused

Sony suck balls at marketing. They basically just assumed "Hey PS2 sold well, we dont even need to try with promoting ps3" and it back fired. That, and a lot of Americans have the whole 'Buy Domestic' mindset right now, so buying a Japanese console is a no-no. Youd be surprised at how many threads ive seen on other forums with 360 owners claiming theyd never buy a console who competes with American one.
Ive seen in many interviews that Microsoft has nothing planned for GDC, they'll make announcements at E3. I predict Alan Wake in 09 and FF13 Versus coming to 360 (not surprising) and maybe a new kingdom hearts... also 360 as well.
