I take it you and the others are conceding the point? My proof: starforce and securerom. Both are successful companies selling DRM to software devs.

Copy writes like Starforce have most likely made people avoid the products all together.. Besides it being incredaibly infringing, as well as supposedly causing hardware problems.. Hackers have foun daway around it.. Starforce is the worse example to use because it inconviencied the actual buyers greatly..

Ice Man - the point isn't that DRM is GOOD, the point is that it's very existance proves companies are losing enough money from piracy that they are spending money (= lost profits) on DRM. I agree, Star Force is awful. So are pirates. Kill them both.

I don't need to do this to defend myself, but if you must know, I half-assed my way through all school work because it bored me and I came out with a 3.7GPA. If I actually applied myself partially to my schooling, I would have blowing through with a 4.0. I don't think the argument is so much about being "pro-demo", I think everyone here is pro-demo. Pretty sure most people just have a problem with "no demo/no sale", as they are more rational humans, and see how such a stringent rule would cause people to miss out.
