Play the demo first, I found this game to be a pass for me.
As far as your question if you do like the game and you dont care about achievements and or no online, then PS3 might be a option but remember most multi-plats are better on 360 IMO.
Its hard to narrow down to just 5 but I will try in no particular order
COD 2
Oblivion
Mass Effect
Gears of War
Bioshock
Would like to mention Fallout 3, Alan Wake, Crackdown, Borderlands, Spider-man SD, Splinter Cell Conviction. There are so many others even 1s I havent played yet like Dragon Age.
You can get a extended warranty for 50 dollars which will cover it for 2yrs and covers everything. Call them and when you get it, it wont take effect for a month. They will fix the red ring for free and add a warranty on it, but then call and add another.
that commercial was funny. I love mario kart and i played the blur beta for hours everyday it was out. To me blur is better, the online on 360with it is crazy and mad fun.
Its because when you use a card they automatically try and bill you again once your gold expires. When they do this they keep trying to bill you, but at the same time they continue to give you gold for a grace period of a few months. You have to call Xbox and pay them for the gold that you used and then they will release the account.
Always call them and tell them to take your card off the list, so they dont try and auto bill. They did the same to me and I use pre-paid cards on Live and when they tried to bill me, they couldnt.
[QUOTE="mischa_barton"]enlighten me. I have 50 real life friends who own 360's and who play at least 2-3 times a week, and only 4 of them have over 30,000, and probably 15 have over 10k. So yeah an average game doesn't have over 30k. Unless of course you only have friends from a gaming community, and see their accomplishments as average. Most people don't post on sites like these, and most don't play video games 24/7. ok your '50 real friends' as you adequately put, is not the definitive cross section of gamers (despite what you may believe). and im getting side tracked, i do not care who or what you think the average gamer is, i do how ever, care that you think it is appropriate to insult those who arent the average gamer. When you have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE about who a person is, what they do with their time, the amount of times they go out, how often they work, whether they study or not and you are basing your unfounded insults on your own personal situation, thus, where the ignorance rears itselfFirst I would like to thank you for pointing out to these people who have such a fulfilling life that they are on a gaming site posting how anyone who spends their time doing something thats not hurting them is wrong.[QUOTE="chaoscougar1"] thankyou for cementing that point on ignorance, hahahaha the 'average' gamer (according to you) love itchaoscougar1
If your life is so great and fulfilled, why are you taking the time to comment on how I or anyone who you fill has a high gamerscore spends their time in their life? So Im guessing that a person with a gamerscore of 920 has a great life, works, has a love life, kids, their own house, etc? So by me having all those things and more and having a GS over 100,000 says what?...I even took the time out of my day to come on here and say Having a opinion is great isnt it?
I think a high GS is about 40,000. There are some great games out there to be played, so go enjoy yourselves. Also Cars is a kids game but I had fun and it was made well, now Vampire Rain is a adult game but I found it to be terrible in every way.
I buy my games new anyway, unless its some game that I over looked and Im pickin it up yrs later at a very low price, if so Im sure the online is dead anyway.
I can see why they are doing this, theysee the money being made by places like Gamestop and they want in.They got paid already, somebody had to buy it new for it to be used.
I buy Madden new and become a gamer on their server, they get paid. Now I turn around and sell the game to my friend and he takes my place on the online server. they have already been paid and there is still one person for that copy of Madden using online server. How does that hurt them? It doesnt they just want some of that money.
Is it just me or is this not really what a premium theme is about. this just is advertising the game in the background with reg avatar back drops.
This is garbage.
Now when Dantes Inferno one was free, that was a real theme, it changed the back drop and all. still thank for the info but as I said this is weak
^ Not to mention games like Mass Effect with the Cerebrus network. I rented Mass Effect 2 from Gamefly and was unable to access content because I didn't have a code to access Cererbrus. Same as if you sold this to your friend, he would then be unable to access that content. I was even unable to access the Dr. Pepper promotional items because I didn't have it. Jasonguy is trying to dodge anything that makes common sense in defense of this for his own gain, but keeps coming up with the same statement that is nowhere near true time after time. billyd5301EA charging for the additional content if you didnt get the game new I agree with. Rewarding gamers with free DLC for buying their product new is great and worked when I told my customers at the game store to buy BF new.
This idea of theirs just doesnt sit right with me. As I said thats stops people from borrowing games from each other. We all know once Madden drops and it close to the next season, it becomes worthless, now it will really have a low trade in value. I use my games as trade to pick up new titles, but now if this was to effect more games then that would make my trade-ins worth jack or at least worth $10 less.
For people to buy the games used someone had to buy it new at one point, so EA got their money. Now as far as using their servers, if I sell my copy of Madden to my friend I am nolonger on their server and he is taking my place, so it remains the same.
