Just because you dislike another nations rulers does not give you the right to tell them they can't defend them selfs.

osirisx3

Defend themselves against what? You cite "western imperialism" but what does that even mean? Who's threatening North Korea? The rest of the world (sans China) simply tells them to make an effort to stop being so batsh*t crazy, but they're still batsh*t crazy, so no ICBMs for them.

South Korea is pretty much a US client state as well as Japan. The US would love to take out DPRK so they can have a land base near Chinas capital to keep control over Asia as China booms. The DPRK tried to put Korea back together after the Allies split them up. The UN led by the US invaded to stop communism and to keep its puppet in south Korea in power. America has been setting up puppets and taking down governments since the end of ww2.Its disgusting to see all the evil stuff the CIA has been up to. Eevery thing from bombings to assassinations.

With all the propaganda and lies about them its hard for them to do anything. Any move they make is some kind of evil communist plot. Its to the point where people who know nothing about DPRK freak at the meer mention of them. It really shows how brain washed we are in the west. This is imperialism trying to take power over other nations.

i see nothing wrong with this, infact we could use a few more puppet states.

What the hells the point in having weapons that are not a threat to anyone? The USA has nukes, space weapons and 800 bases all over the world but north Korea is not allowed to even fire one rocket.

osirisx3

Do you know the mentality that North Korea's government has? Or are you clueless about what they do and just want to bash the west for not wanting nutjobs to have long range ICBM's?

Just because you dislike another nations rulers does not give you the right to tell them they can't defend them selfs.

it does if you are bigger and stronger then the other party.

especially if that other party is aiming those weapons at you.

[QUOTE="megaspiderweb09"]

A few days ago, i was painting a picture in my head what the world would be like if everyone had Guns, at the time i was in a resturant and it suddenly occured to me that because of the nature of fire arms sending projectiles alova the place, its not entirely a safe weapon that everyone can own. Say what you want but not everyone can own or should own a gun, infact guns should not even be made, its too deadly compared to other arms in its class. If we compare a gun to a sword, knife, arrow, the nature of a gun outclasses them, i mean a machine gun was mowing down a whole battalion during World War 1. Nobody deserves to have their life yanked from them while they are shopping or as i imagined, i dont want to have bullets flying over my head while im having a meal in a resturant because two guyz want to settle a score

megaspiderweb09

id rather be shot then die slowly by sword or arrow.

also you do realize that your world view is hopelessly naive, right?

Please if you are going to insult me, i beg you to resist

not meaning to insult.

BTW why the bolding and odd diction?

[QUOTE="RAMRODtheMASTER"] I carry everyday, and I practice shooting often but in a situation like this one you have so many factors you would have to take into consideration. Your adrenaline will be pumping, your hands will almost certainly be far from steady. Simply pointing and shooting does not happen in something like this unless you are trained special forces. These are things we make sure to hammer home at the CCW class that is taught at the shop I work at. A situation like the one detailed here is not something you can ever truly prepare for, especially when you have the mentality that since I have a gun I can easily handle any situation with ease. Rich3232

true, but if you can actualy see the shooter i imagine there is a good chance some one could shoot them.

i don't really believe that man is as impotent as you suggest.

Also, i should mention that i am a huge advocate that training and a licence(harder to get then the current ones and yearly renewed) should be a requirement for gun purchase

wait, just to clarify, are you saying that training should be mandatory and annual?

if you want to own a handgun, or any non hunting firearm.

[QUOTE="Rich3232"][QUOTE="frannkzappa"] no. it's not that simple. RAMRODtheMASTER

Then please go ahead and explain to me the "complexities" of using a modern day fire arm.
