so what is the servers we pay for ?? demo's ?? thats advertisement to sell games and should be free annyway........

1. RRoD is not as common as you think. I've never in the 3-4 years I've had my 360 received one. Maybe some are built to last longer than others, I'm not sure, but I know that buying a 360 nowadays means you'll get a better chip so it has very little risk involved. That is no reason to bash this wonderful gaming machine. 2. The reason Xbox Live is a pay service is because it offers more than what you get elsewhere. Perhaps you don't like paying the money, but look at what you're getting for it. You won't find this kind of service in PSN and definitely not on the Wii's online service. If you buy a 12 month card (sometimes it's a 13 month card) you can find it online for 35$. That's close to 3$ per month.. it's not that harsh on your wallet for the excellent service you get.wwervin

I always say this ...but i'll just say it again...if you cant afford to pay $4 a month for xbl then u shouldn't be playing video games.....and besides the money factor prevents all sorts of hackers from creating new accounts to scam people like on the ps3...take a look at the PNS its free but look at it its so bland and even though its free xbl still has more frequent players

come on you can't even use voice chat when you have silver ??? I can use voice chat on msn for freemy voice chat isn't hosted on your server so this is really a steaming pile of poo.

plus the voice comunication sucks the sound is realy bad. ( when I play with my friend through live I rather pick up my pc headset and skype him because the party chat is so inferiour quality )

every thing live offers regarding to online play could easily be done free. but hey microsoft is gready

( and yeah I have a year subscribtion only because I don't have a choice )

Have my gaming pc and xbox plugged in my 20 inch monitor........ so my wife can watch tv.

and it doesn't bother me at all because I'm sitting much closer to my monitor.

do miss the ambilght though ( but I'm to lazy to reconnet the xbox to the tv when she isn't home lol )

When you install games you won't be using your optical drive as much so less wear and tear.......

often it will also reduce loading times ( plus the optical drive makes to much noise for my liking)

and what I sad before if you like forza you won't be able to install the 2nd disc wich will result in less cars and tracks to play

just get a hard disc you won't regret it ( only wish microsoft would use better pricing on the harddisc-department)

without it you won't be able to install the 2nd disc of forza 3

if you now buy the game and the dlc you will be paying more then 70 euro here for it........

regret that I bought the game on release I don't think 5 maps ( wich have 2 old ones in it that I already have in fact in my cod mw ) and charging 14 euro's for it is suport.

oh well there will probably be hordes of brainless people buying it................ they only help with the downfall of gaming.........

glad I didn't buy it :) I got dirt dirt2 feul grid and toca 3 for almost the same price as those 5 measily maps :D
