@nl_skipper @fredyellowone All reviews are tainted with a degree of subjectivism. And it's alright that way. And I do not expect 100% objective reviews that would be more or less fact sheets anyway.
But on the bottom line, final words of a review should be objective. If not, then it's not a review, it's a rant and/or, a praise.
@DamnILoveGames @fredyellowone No, a review should NOT represent one's feelings. A review should be objective. That's why people consider them before buying a game.
So, according to some here, if I don't like Football, then it should be OK for me to review Madden Football a 4 out of 10?
Well, it should not. Even if I don't like Madden Football, If I was paid to write an objective review on that game, then I would be putting my own personnal feelings aside, and I would try to understand how the game is intended, and how fans of the genre are thinking when they are playing it.
I'm not coming here to read about one's own feelings about a particular experience he had. I'm coming here to read objective reviews.
@DamnILoveGames @fredyellowone I could have said " Your favorite game is that way ---> My statement was clearly made to point him out that he don't have to play what he don't like.
It's quite simple, the OP is wrong for a sole reason.
It's one thing to not like a game - because you don't like it for various reasons (subjective, personnal) and it's another to not like a game because it's broken, and or flawed.
Souls Series is not broken, is not flawed. Series is intended that way.
OP is unable here to be rational. He let's his own feelings dictate his review.
And BTW, DS2 is like 20 times easier than DS1 and Demon's souls.
