@Tauu It's what I think. I'm cool, very relax, and still... Nintendo is not making me laugh a little and smile like they've been able to do in the past.
@bunchanumbers @fredyellowone I disagree with the first part. Rare is now garbage, that's for sure, but that's because everbody left it. Maybe in a parrallel universe, still with Nintendo, all that would be different.
@iwoof @fredyellowone I don't think they are better. I relate to Sony now not because of fanboyism, but just because they released some of my favorite games/genres in the past.
When I was younger, I really thought that Nintendo's material was something cool, something different. But then I grew older and came to love different kind of games.
My last console from Nintendo was an N64. I absolutely loved it. But then Rareware left. And Rareware Was, by a large margin, the heart and soul of Nintendo.
Just think of games like Killer Instinct, Banjo, Goldeyene, Blast Corps, Perfect Dark, etc.
And all the great franchises like Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Punch Out, etc. (And Body Harvest, one of the best games ever created)
Sadly, Nintendo lost Rare, like I said; and all the appeal that company was bringing with it.
These days, Nintendo is still doing a great job with his main franchises. However, for me at least, the rest is just too bland and too childish.
So, bottom line, it's not about being serious or not, different or not, it's about making great games. And I don't feel Nintendo is able to do that a lot anymore.
@Stebsis @fredyellowone Yes, it does. If you allow ressources for 60fps, you will have to cut somewhere else, depending on the total pool of ressources you can use.
