Hi i'm considering importing a US Wii since, well, Freeloader got killed and i don't want half of my games to be bricked when the next big Nintendo game comes out. You see, im in a very unusual situation. I live in Malaysia and officially Nintendo sells US Wiis games here. But i was studying in Melbourne, where i bought my Wii and will be living in Melbourne for another two years. However, in case you dont already know, Aussie Wii games are almost twice the price of those from the US (including shipping) So can someone enlighten me with their experience of importing a US Wii?
For eg. will i still be playing online with aussie ppl? Not with FCs though i mean random online
Price of the console? Games?
Warranty issues?
Virtual Console?
Any other advantages/disadvantages?
I also know that US will get most games months earlier than us in Australia so in the end, do you guy think i should jump on the bandwagon?
I just got myself a PSP and Rachet and Clank: Size Matters to start things off. Over the top of your head name me ten games from various genres (excluding strategy, sports) that you recommend that i should buy. Please don't give me a list of highest rated games from Gamespot as i have spotted more than half that i didn't like and wouldn't play. Cheers!
Edit: Games that i am considering : MGS Portable Ops, GTA, Exit, LocoRoco, Katamari. Lacking some action games to think about
i want to know how hard it is isa it worth it it seems like everybody beat it in a dayGally66
Im only at about 50 stars but my opinion right now is that it is on the easy side but its so much fun playing the game itself that i dont even care. I dont think its a short game though i think ive already clocked about 6-8 hours. I hear it gets harder during late game when trying to get all 120 stars
Its a great game......for multiplayer ONLY.
Seriously , this game is really really good when u play it with 4 friends. Thats also the problem, the games are designed for 4 players in mind...unlike the first one. Its really the opposite of the first one.
So if you're gonna play it alone, dont bother. But the multiplayer part of the game beats every others i know off on the Wii right now even though it involves quite a bit of shaking. The on-rails shooting part is a bit disappointing unfortunately, read about it in the official review
