Haha i guess if you post something like this on a Wii forum..... you should be expecting answers from Wii lovers. I have my own reasons for loving Wii and i can understand your frustration if you're a hardcore gamer looking for epic games of the same calibre like MGS, GTA, Halo etc. The Wii is a little slow but give it some time, just look at the DS! The Wii is selling and the developers do take note of this kind of things (duh)
At the mean time, just enjoy Zelda TP and Metroid 3 which are both not Mario games! And Rayman is the best minigames game out there with the sequel just coming around the corner
Yes it was worth it. I personally dont waste all of my life playing games so i am enjoying the few quality AAA titles that they currently have. Plus, i have heaps of fun playing party games with my friends occasionally, which is priceless and thats ironic cause the Wii is cheaper than the other consoles :)
And, this is the how many hundred-th topic that asked a similar question?
To be honest ill give you a stupid answer, get both. But to help you decide:
Monkey ball: If you liked monkey ball singleplayer, you'll like this one too since its similar but i like the controls more. Tilting the board using the wiimote feels natural and requires lots of skill. Multiplayer wise, it is decent, it offers 50 games, but you will probably only play abour 20 of them, and only 5 of them are really really good. The rest are crap. That being said, this game offers the most simultaneous minigames compared to other games such as.........
Rayman: Pure minigames game. It has unique presentation and the rabbids are just humorous to watch. The minigames are often very imaginative and even old concepts are given a twist and feels fresh on this game. Unfortunately, as i have read in a magazine that the game was build for singleplayer first, and multiplayer slapped on next. Most of the minigames can be played multiplayer but most of it are not simultaneous. However, the few that offer simultaneos multiplayer are absolute gems. If you can hold out longer for Rayman 2 it will be better since they said that they are gonna put 70% of the minigames for simultaneous gaming.
Hope that helps!
I'll probably pick it up, but all this hype is kind of pathetic. Why not just pick up a 360 if you like shooters? There are games 10x better than this in terms of gameplay and graphics on other consoles. The graphics look like an early PS2 game. But since I only have a Wii, I guess I'll get it. The 32 player online should set a precedent for other online Wii games.justlp87

People are just interested to see how the FPS genre works out on the Wii. I wouldnt call it pathetic, seeing as many people invisioned the Wiimote and FPS to work perfectly together, and it hasnt happened.. yet.
The other thing is Wii owners are glad its 32 Multiplayer online, friend-code less.
My thoughts exactly. I'd rather play an FPS with a wiimote than dual analog controllers any day regardless of graphics. The ony problem is the lack of FPS games for the Wii and this is shaping up to be an above average shooter.
Is SSX Blur recommended at all?
I havent played any SSX games before
