yep. of course, if my school isnt accredited, no university will care even if i got a 6.0, which is impossible. but the quality of teaching at my school is bad enough.
if you bought a mac for 2000, say their model with the intel core 2 duo and the x1600, you could buy a dell xps for the same price, except it would also have a superior 7900GS, and the awesome case, plus a 19" monitor. the fact is, Macs are more expensive, but for video editing, and stuff, mac has the edge, thats all. PC's are better for everything else. btw, why not start a poll?

really, if your ambitions are that great, and your that smart, upcoming #1 in ur class, and all i dont think your parents should worry, even if gaming will "hurt" your studies, if youve been gaming in high school and your still getting good grades, thats no cause for concern. i just think some parents care too much..and besides, how many class valectictorians have ended up dropping university, or living with their parents because they cant find a job...
btw, i think its the minority of gamers who take games too far, and let it influence them, ie columbine, dawson, etc etc. I think thats where her generalizations come from...
btw thanks for all your comments guys. Im just astounded that a relatively decent school like mine, could hold such bigoted and close-minded opinions. And this teacher believes in the "alternative lifestyle" and is no-death penalty. Just got back from school. The worst thing that could happen i think, is if my teacher doesnt acknowledge that her statements and assertions are based on terrible evidence and that she she wont acknowledge she wasn't teaching very well....
