Nope, if you disable onboard video in your BIOS, it won't share (Steal) RAM with your system anymore; that is, if you have a REAL video card to install..
I doubt you will save much money on a mobo w/o Integrated Video. Besides, adding a discrete graphics card usually makes the onboard go away, if you enable it in BIOS. RAM problem fixed.
I think it IS delayed, though. Even Sapphire said it, and they are one of the bigger ATi board partners. That's not good, but I hope the GDDR4 version is good, because I'm not impressed by the GDDR3 HD 2900XT
I thought RV630 was delayed until July. Inquirer Fudzilla Now I know these aren't the best sites, I know I have seen an article like it on [H] as well.
14.1 , 15.4 , and 17. Then you got the ultra small 12.1 inchers. I personally think the 15.4 is still really small, but most people have laptops in that size. It's all a matter of preference.
Eh, I guess you posted while I was typing that. I'm not a big fan of the Allendale, but if this guy isn't a big overclocker, it would work out pretty well for him. the 965 and the 650i Ultra are about the same as well.
BTW, I never buy my HD's online. The weekly Best Buy ads almost always have better deals. My HD was something like $55 dollars.
