Only so many people can own a PS2... I wouldnt be suprised to see a large spike in PS3 sales from the PS2 base that are just waiting.
Sony are not losing fans. To even say so makes no sense... They are losing fans why? Because of an expensive console? They just cant afford a PS3.
I think most of those people moved to 360 and Wii. The only spike I expect to see is after a price drop. I hope it happens because it is a great system. Just to damn expensive!
the whole sales thing got out of control just after the Dreamcast died. It hasn't let up since. Basically trying to promote fear that such and such system of choice will go "the way of the Dreamcast". It's retarded really! Games sales are different however. For the budget of the sequel and future games and the health of the developer etc.

Judginig from your avatar you like shooters. Killzone 2 is a great freakin game! Why do people think just cause I have a stupid Halo avatar that I HAVE to like SHOOTERS or I'm a 360 fanboy!? I'm changing my avatar. Oh and BTW: I change my mind. I really only feel like playing God of War 3. The other games, which I admit they look great and I'm sure they are great games, don't really interests me muchOh I don't know maybe because Halo is a xbox exclusive and one of the most critically aclaimed shooters of all time!
It's the best game I've played that's come out this year by far! So imo it's game of the year right now. I haven't played Infamous. Uncharted 2 and ODST will probably give it a run for it's money.
As good as bioware is MMO's are ripoffs. On top of that most are trash and even the best aren't very good. I hate what they've done to kotor hate hate hate it!

There is nothing to indicate this considering the 260 is selling better. PS1 and PS2 lasted as long as they did because they sold so well. For now there is nothing to indicate the 360 will not last as long as the PS3. the only thing we can base it on is companys track records. The PS2 is still in production, and the XBOX was dropped like it was hotActually the better thing to go on would be profitability of the consoles. The xbox was expensive to produce. That's why it was dropped. Just like which console this gen?
The only thing that I'm worried about is the length. The first one was pretty epic but was far to short! Why would you care about what GS rates it if you loved the first? The second looks like it improves on that same formula a ton.
