If it's dead already I wonder if they're still considering an Xbox port? Would that be a bad or good idea in this situation. If good maybe they could look at a Switch port as well if it could handle it.

@solid_snake1461: I just don't like it when people lie and put words in my mouth and make assumptions based on fanboyism. Also the whole self contradicting thing never goes over well. I repeated what I said because going by your thought process it's true. Can take it or leave it.

@solid_snake1461: Don't recall saying I thought "xbox is invincible against hacking" but alright. That's a fair enough reason not to want to. You should quit gaming altogether though if you're that worried about it.

On your second point, don't know where that came from. Never said anytging about a "perfect, peaceful world when everyone hold hands together for a happy ever after ending". I just want to be able to play with as many platforms as possible. A little over dramatic, aren't we? Comparing merging countries to gamers from different platforms being able to play with each other on some games is a kind of ridiculous in my opinion. Also I don't live in the US.

@initiald411: No you're right, it wouldn't be with every game but it could be with a lot of games. On your second point, I disagree. You go on any big multiplayer game and you can easily find games. It's not like all the servers are empty and this is Microsoft's last hope of keeping the lights on. As for the whimsical bit, of course I don't think everyone's gonna be nice. What community has only nice people? There are bad and good members of each community.

I'm surprised at how many people are actually defending Sony on this topic. Why would anybody not want cross-play? That's like my dream come true. Being able to play with everybody, a games community and amount of people to play with would be so much bigger. I'd love to be able to play any game with all my friends who own different systems, wouldn't you? Why don't you want it?
