whats with this "its the same game as MW2 with no additions. this is wrong since spec ops will now have a survival mode with perks and gun upgrades to compete with zombies as well as the individual opperations. multiplayer is the only repeat here and il admit to it! screw your heads on people, and yes BF3 will be better.
mr p ness and all other crysis trashers i dont see how you could possibly talk crap about this game its by far the best shooter ever made in more ways than one. the only reason your complaining is because you dont have the system to run it at its best or to dumb to know to download the new graphics drivers. also the episodic way this game was made just makes it better and it also is also just crytec showing off how amazing their crytech engine 2 is so stop trashing this game because its by far the gratest technical achivement in gaming graphics and playability ever. also beat the game on Delta like i did and see how truly dificult and amazingly intelligent the AI gets and then rewrite all the BS posts you wrote.
you would think that the game would need more performance for it to run at its best but i guess EA managed to get it to run good at 30 fps. The true thing that they should have tested is the largest map with 8 players 7 of them being AI or computer controlled that is and put them on the brutal setting and the highest graphical setting and see how much it will tax the CPU to managing all the AI's at once. that would be the true test to see how much power it takes to have the laegest battle possible. anyway im not worried il see if i can run it at max at 2560by1600 on my 30 in. system specs QX6700 Quad Core at overclocked 3.2 ghz 2 Gigs Corsair XMS RAM EVGA 8800 GTX video card ASUS 680i motherboard 320 Gig hard drive 1100 watt tangan turbojet power supply Nxtz series Apollo gaming tower I went overkill didnt I sadly even Supreme Commander cant run with more than 4 AI's on a 40x40 map on my computer on the max settings so dont feel bad people.
123456_1267 you are wrong dead wrong because if you tone down the resolution of the monitor you can run this game on max settings and an 81X81km map with massive unit counts 5000+ on the resolution setting 1280x768. You probably have not even played this game on a high end computer so you have no idia what your talking about. dont believe me buy this setup on ibuypower for 3100$ and it will do it. this is also my setup and it can do the job and it looks beautiful. Definitly go with the 8800 GTX its far better than the the 2 ATI RADIONS. Make sure the processor you have is good. Dual Cores are good but quad core is better if you want to have extreem unit counts on the screen at once.
2 8800 GTS would be better than a single GTX but i suggest that you get 2 GTX's for max performance but because the game dosent support the SLI just yet its somthing that should be fixed soon and a patch should be out for it in March but you will run the game just fine with your setup on max settings just wana say get a quad core it rocks hard core and you can play the biggest maps and have 5000+ on the field and it runs great this game needs pure processing power.
wow you seem to know alot about computers but i am only giving my opinion and yes the cpu can get fried and air cooling is not as efficient as water cooling and i prefer to use the water and i dont know what the hell you have heard but ive been a hardcore computer gamer for 10 years= and the liquid is much colder and you do not have hot water in the system if you do than you have a problem but my cooler master system is cold around the tubes so if yours arnt than fix your problem insted of flaming me cause i have a QX6700 and water cooling is necessary to maintain long system life during overclocking
The E6600 is the easiest processor of the core 2 dou to overclock and it is also the most resiliant to heat. you will need to get a liquid cooling system for you processor and be sure that the you have a sufficent power supply to do so. if you dont have liquid coolong for the cpu i suggest that you get it cause heat is what will hurt you CPU and if it gets too hot it will melt your chip. The process is very long and complicated and you will need to have the latest version of BIOS on your motherboard to do it. On the IGN website their is an awsome article on overclocking your E6600 which will tell you how to do it. it would take 4 pages for me to explain it to you Vista makes the game run much better and DX 10 is not out for the game until middle of march. The top performance has been reached. I got My quad core Intel QX6700 to overclock to 3.55 ghz and now can get massive unit counts on the screen and makes the games so much more fun and i can play on the largest map with 5000 + units if i lower the resolution to 1280X720 but on medium 53k by 53k maps on 1600X1200 the unit counts can get to 2500 without problems with all settings on high raw processing power is the key to this game you need that quad core cause its full potential is tapped in this game.
