gyes just know that this game was designed for the next 5 years as staed and they want you to buy a better computer to play it but if you just hold off and wait another year what i paid for my system will drop $1000 at least and then newer technology will take its place. I mean Intel is already in the process of making an 8 core processor with individual tasks for each core plus graphics rendering on the CPU. The computer market will advance faster then ever thought possible. Im going to mess around with overclocking my Intel QX6700 quad core cpu some have gotten to 3.7 gigs which is insane and i can only imagin waht the game will play like then.
one thing i want to know is how many units were on the screen when they did these system tests because it can range from 70fps all the way to 30fps for me
4 gigs is overkill you would only need that much if you cant upgrade your video card or CPU. 2 is just fine. Get Corsair XMS ram with heat spreder its the best. Where the heck did you see that i had 4 gigs of ram
I could really care less what you belive im only prooving that you have to buy the best and latest hardware to run this game. Dont doubt someone who is such a hardcore gamer that they are willing to spend that kind of money to buy their system and have the money to do it. "Im not trying to Brag". But just for your info Jopali look at IBuypower.com and go to the gamer GTX in the Intel configorator setup and configer it with thoes components. screw Dell and Alienware they rip you off and you will pay $6000 for that setup if you get it from them. is roughly $4000 on ibuypower and they have much better customer support and if you dont like your system they will give you a full refund no questions asked. best computer dealer with the absolute best prices. And also note that im only using one of the 8800 GTX video cards because there is no drivers to get SLI support on Vista in DX10 just imagine what the game will look like in April when the driver comes out. fps will probably double
I have never had any problems and I play large games on the 81k maps and have 6 people playing online and i get this game to run with 4700 units and structures on the battlefield in total and it runs perfect still at 32 fps with all the settings maxed. The quad core is the thing this game needs to make it run perfectly with lots of units. this game does a good job of making use of the 4 cores. The detail and awsome graphics of the game are in the viideo cards. get 2 Nvidia 8800 GTX;s and you will ge it to run perfectly. Vista rocks System setup intel QX6700 quad core processor 2 GB of ram Corsair XMS 2 2X Nvidia 8800 GTX running SLI Nvidia 680i motherboard 400 GB haed drive 24 In Dell monitor 1600X1200 resolution Window Vista Home Premium
Here is the deal gyes thoes of you unhappy that you dont get SLI support on Suprem Commander on vista will get your moneys worth for thoes 8800 GTX's you paid for. A driver release for DX10 SLI Vista support is in the making and should be released in mid April which will fix the fact that SUpreme commander will only run without SLI on. If you know so much about this Scarycloud tell me what i have to do to make it work or if thie will be an update for it. What the hell do i have to do to get this game to run with SLI I mean other games run great on if why not this one espicially when you need to get the FPS over 25 got great game play. I would prefer to run it at 50-60 with SLI than 25-35 with single. "Guarenteed Crysis will run SLI Guarenteed" if
Sadly gyes this game dosent support SLI which is compleatly stupid for GPG to do that considering this game is so demanding there better be an update to fix that cause if not im going to raise HELL. At least for my Dual 8800 GTX my processor is only an E6600 and it runs fine with high unit count but a major way to keep your frame rates up is to lower your resolution but just running at 30 fps is fine.
