Too Human... hoping it turns out to be the modern Diablo-type game that Hellgate:London was supposed to be. Also NG2, R6V2, and GTAIV

Well I have a 26" HDTV that can only go up to 720P, so naturally, I just set my xbox to that. It has an HDMI port but my xbox doesn't so I just use the component cables. The TV also has a VGA port on it; would that look better (in 720p) than component cables?

Don't overlook Ninja Gaiden Black on the Marketplace. It's a fantastic game and it's very cheap relative to 360 games, new or used. I downloaded it as a "filler" game for the next month because there are many games coming out in March that I am interested in. I would rather wait for these games to release and see how they pan out instead of spending a bunch of money and regretting it.

Is there any way that i can get wireless Internet on my 360 from my laptop that is hooked up wirelessly to the Internet without running an ethernet cable way from my room to the other room. i just dont want to pay 100 dollars for that thing but i will if i have to.

Sk8teOrDi3

u have to buy th ethernet cable for like 20 bucks or the wireless adapter for $100. if u have wireless internet on ur laptop then y dont u just move the laptop closer to the 360?

dude, putting the laptop closer to the 360 does entirely nothing. TC, you will need the 100 wireless piece, I brought mine for 50 bucks used at gamestop and there's a few going for the same price on ebay.

Ya, you need the wireless adapter. I only know of the official one from Microsoft which runs for 100 bucks new. As Sk8teOrDi3 said, putting the laptop closer does nothing. As long as the Xbox 360 is in range of the wireless router/modem or whatever you use, it should work.

My sister gave me the nickname "Furrball" when I grew out my hair during high scool. Ever since, I've been using it as names for characters, etc. in games. My GT is Furrball6 because Furrball was taken and 6 is my fav number.

Mine wouldn't stay connected to the internet. I brought it in with my 2-year replacement plan and they switched out the console, let me keep my hard drive. It was from xmas of '06 so it was a little over a year old. Now I got a new 360 (falcon chip too) and I had no problems. :)

I'm having the same problem with Comcast. However, the router I got from them is on the list of acceptable routers. I get disconnected from Xbox LIVE before I can even join a game, but I can download demos and stuff fine. I e-mailed Microsoft today, so I'll let you know if anything helpful comes of it.

So I just got Comcast HiSpeed Internet so I figured I could finally play on Live. I set up the account and everything, but I can't stay connected long enough to join any games (trying to play Halo 3). I can get into the lobby, and be about to join a game, and then it disconnects me. I have a wired connection straight from my modem to the xbox so I don't see what the problem is. Any ideas? I asked Comcast for my PPPoE information to put that in the settings, but they just gave me some links to xbox.com showing me how to connect my xbox to the internet. Ya, real helpful there. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I dropped mine from a shelf about 5 and a half feet up onto the floor (carpet thank god, otherwise it would've for sure broken). I was trying to see if the power cord would reach from the shelf to the outlet and I accidentally tugged a little too hard. Popped the side vent plate thing right off, BUT, it still works :D.
