It is a beautiful sci-fi game with a plot.

Considering the time taken and high production values, it will be a decent game, hopefully it will take the best elements from FF13 series.
Until then, there are plenty of other games to play on.
Not sure about the hype but the fanbase is there to back it up. FF13 sold over a million in one day in japan alone.
Theres a lot of pressure carrying a Final Fantasy title as a main entry.
It is a PS4 and Xbox One game afterall which may annoy some.

If you want graphics, why would you waste money on a Wii U for its cartoon kiddy games by jumping from a demanding strategy mmorpg or a game like star citizen, also, time is essential. Why waste time on a more crappy product? Thats if you have all the time in the world.

The best combo is to own them all and play the best and developers are working on.
For instance, next gen games are not all on PS3, 360, Wii U but are on PS4, Xbox One, PC.

True next gen experience is only with PC, PS4, Xbox One, with the support, online, exclusives and the best multiplatforms.

I guess Wii U fanboys need a reason to purchase by saying that its better to have with a high rig PC.. lol.

Those game listed are GOTY nominees and best on the systems they are on. And should be already played by the majority of gamers.
Tearaway is a Handheld GOTY 2013 for the Vita.
Top Indie titles of 2013 are Papers Please, Stanley Portable and Gone Home and there are more as enlisted by Gamespot and more.
I've enjoyed every single game enlisted. There are 'cartoon' games on other systems besides Nintendo you know, that are right up your alley.

TLOU was the global winner of course and will be hurting people for years to come it seems.
But there are a heap of other games that are better in some ways than Gamespots choice of Zelda.
Like GTA5, Bioshock, AC4, Tomb Raider, Ni No kuni, Metro, Tearaway, and Indie titles like Papers Please, Stanley Portable, Gone home etc.
Depends on your gaming experience and tastes really.
Be glad there are a varied range of games from rpg's to fps and epic action adventure games.
