[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"]Wait to see how the 6 series turns out.-CheeseEater-
From looking at the specs of the 6870 and 6850, they looked be very much re-branded 5xxx cards.

Yup. And are no match for the 480.

For $2000 the video card you're getting is just a single GTX470? And an unknown PSU. Hmmm... it's a strong build but not practical in terms of getting your money's worth... Plus an ugly case to boot (it is quite unique though).

The 460 runs cool. You can get a brand that uses aftermarket coolers if you're paranoid like me. MSi Cyclone or Hawk version should be great. I own the Cyclone version.

I just got an xbox wireless adapter for windows to connect my controller to my pc but it's not working. I installed the drivers and nothing. I uninstalled and let windows check for drivers and the adapter doesn't even show up as a recognized device. I have windows 7, AMD Athlon II x4 64, 1TB hdd, and plenty of ram so I know my pc is compatible. I'm starting to wonder if I ordered a defective unit any tips or ideas? I even tried installing the drivers manually from the install cd.

For Windows 7:

Right click on Computer
Go to Properties
Click on Device Manager
Right click on the Unidentified Device
Go to Properties
Go to the Drive tab
Click on Update Driver…
Browse my computer for driver software
Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer - Microsoft Windows Common Controller for Windows
Update Driver Warning
Click Yes

isn't it kinda reduntant asking for opinions on wether its a good case when you have already bought it?, unless you are thinking of returning it and buying a diffrent one

duderino_23

I agree with duderino_23...

But aside from that. You will not regret buying it. I'd using one myself and it's awesome!

My MSi GTX460 Cyclone 1GD5/OC is stable at 850/1700/2000 at stock volts... Max temp for OCCT stress testing is 72 and 70 for Furmark.

It really has a lot of headroom for overclocking given that you buy the version with a good aftermarket cooler.
