How much they pay this reviewer? I have not seen a worse combat system EVER and I have been gaming since the 70s.
Fast paced combat? Not after you pause 10 times switching spells. Glitchy graphics where half the time you log on the spells you cast dang near blind you with a bright white flash. Even at 120 hz it has worse input lag then 20 year old games. Camera follow is horrible. Combat itself shows almost no effort put into the enemy AI. Could go on with the list of problems that it had in the very first 2 minutes of gameplay.
Watched a lot of beta while my brother was playing d4. And what i seen was WAY too much d3 not enough d2. And on top of that there was no real place to complain and demand change before this releases and disappoints everyone.
@HAWK9600: Do not get me wrong I did hate all God of war games till the last one. IT was actually a pretty good game but had nothing to do with the story. Was the exploration and gameplay aspects it was not your normal spamfest action GoW game.
@juicyphallice: Always expect story to be too heavily considered on gamespot. To me gameplay/combat is 98 percent of the game everything else means very little. A review like this is a 7 to me because the reviewer talks way too much about how great the story telling is.
When the fact is the best video game story ever made is not as good as a random paperback book randomly picked up off the shelf.
Might want to release a decent game in this century first. I mean movies based on good games are already bad how bad would a movie based on a series that has not made a decent game in 2 decades?
Battery and Thumbsticks still going to be the problem. They lasting longer then Ps4 controllers for sure but just replaced my first one both the left stick was floating and the battery was down to about 4 hours of life at full charge.
Ps4 was not bad because you could pick one up on sale for 30 bucks or so. But at 75 dollars I expect more. At 200 like this one it better do my dishes and take out the trash too.
