Time just flys by ..................... three years back on this very day i bought something that i never expected would amaze so much & become a huge part of my life , i am talking about The Xbox 360 , three years back i bought the xbox 360 after being waiting a lot for the PS3 to release :P

My all time favourite & most played console is the PS2 , i still love it , but by the time the Xbox 360 gen ends , its no secret that Xbox 360 will take that place , according to Microsoft , they are not even halfway through this gen , well i dont believe that at all ,according to crytek ceo This gen would last untill 2012 . w e ll see that , The 360 is out since 2005 & has huge success since its launch , with succesfull games like Halo 3, Gears of War 1 & 2 , Forza 2 , Fable 2 , Mass Effect & the biggest Strength of the 360 which is Xbox Live , the 360 has made its impact this gen & won manny hearts . it did everything right this gen , which was to satisfy gaming fans in the first place , by delivering quality AAA tittles & online experience which is unmatched till date . i may sound like a true ms fanboy here , but i am not :P.

I have all 3 current gen systems , the Wii being the latest & 360 being the oldest , i enjoy gaming whether it be on current gen platforms or handhelds or the pc . out of all my gaming platforms , none has ever amazed me the way the Xbox 360 did , thats coz it had games that suited my taste . here i would like to mention my top favourite Xbox 360 games that even till date i play .

Crackdown - This game was promoted heavily as an alternate way to enter the Halo 3 beta , just weeks before its release the demo was released & it was one of the finest demos to be released on XBL , with GTA IV nowhere to be seen , this game just amazed me just like a gta would , not only it was fun, but the rpg elements like powering up your charachter for higher jumps & gaining new abilities made this one an explosive experience like none in this genre ,plus with online co op , it was double the fun , cant wait for its sequel .

Forza 2 - untill Forza 2 arrived , i was a big fan of arcade racing games , i used to hate racing sims especially gran turismo , nfs & burnouts where my racing world , but all of it changed when this beauty arrived on the 360 , the graphics were just superb along with excellent sound & unmatched customization . but those are not just the reason that made me a fan of racing sims , it was Forza 2 s gameplay that amazed me , it was very approachable compared to other racing sims, i still remember my time , when i would just sit & play Forza 2 after work for hours & hours , upgrading it for better performance & customizing it accordibng to my taste , this game just made me a fan of racing sims , gran turismo should thank forza 2 for turning an aracde fan like me into a racing sim fan :P, with Forza 3 out soon, there is tons of racing awesomeness to be had on the 360.

Project Gotham Racing 4 - after forza i tried PGR 4 , now this was a mix of arcade & sim ,a fine balance between the two , i never really liked pgr 3 at all ,but with pgr 4 came bikes into play , since i am more of a bike lover than cars , pgr 4 amazed me with its amazing visuals , neat variery of tracks along with gr8 environments & a ton of cars & bikes to unlock ,some of my favourite bikes like the Suzuki GSX R Hayabusa made it even more fun , if you have still not placed this awesome racer yet , you ve missed 1 of the best racing games on the 360 .here s hoping for a pgr 5 someday with even more awesomeness :wink:.

Dead Rising - This would probably be the first batch of games that i boughtformy 360 & till date no game has ever gaved me the kinda goosebumps this game did , with an excellent plot , interesting charachters, amazing soundtrack , atmosphere , boss battles & super awesome variety of gameplay ,dead rising just impressed me & till date no adventure game on the 360 has ever come closer to me than dead rising ,there was only 1 save slot in game which made it tougher & frustrating at times , plus with multiple endings & a mall full of zombies everywhere , you had to be very wise to your saves & i think this is what made the game 1 hell of an experience that even after years i still play it when i have the time 4 it , make no mistake , if you love challenge & killing a ton of zombies, do yourself a favour , play dead rising at all cost .its simply awesome & 1 of the best on the 360 . Dead Rising 2 better release in 2010 .

Mass Effect - i ve never been a fan of rpg , have played very few of them & this game like others was lying in my to play list since years , some months back i finally got to play it ,since it was more of an action rpg , i enjoyed it a lot , the combat was gr8 along with really good lookin environments & a superb storyline with tons of dialogues , this game has a superb replaying value , its definately the best rpg on the 360 coz thats the only rpg i ever finished on the 360 ,rpgs are not kind , but mass effect made sure that i become a fan of rpgs as well ,cant wait for Mass Effect 2 .

. Gears of War - if there is anything that i ve enjoyed & played to death this gen , its none onther than the awesomeness known as Gears of War ,my 360 experience officialy kicked off with this game as i bought an HDTV along with this game ,not only it was the best looking game at that time , but the most badass thing i ever played , it was like a dream come true to see & play a stunning game like gears of war , till date i ve played its sp campaign in co op some 26 times , played its online close to dont even know how manny hours , not only just gears , but Gears 2 as well , not only it was a true sequel to the original , but improved everywhere it could & delivered a mind boggling experience that even till date i play it every night with my friends , there has been some problems with it online , but even with that , it remains my top dog this gen , not just me , but my friends list is full with gears fans , lag or not , the gameplay is just so dam amazing online that we are willing to play it whether its laggy or not .

its the awesomeness of gears that keeps bringing me back to it every now & then . i dont think any new ip this gen that has impressed me the way gears of war 1 & 2 did , if gears of war 2 was any example on the 360 , i cant even imagine the madness epic will bring with gear of war 3 . there has been some serious hype about other games this gen on other platforms & 360 as well , i ve played them all & all i can say is that Gears can have them all 4 breakfast , its just too big of a monster now , with the gears of war franchise , its very clear what made the 360 famous in the first place ,Halo did for the xbox , Gears for the 360 , its bigger , better ,more badass than ever & is here to stay on top this gen ,like it or not , atleast 4 me . i can talk about this & 1 more game all day . so time to wrap things up . hope u enjoyed everything................... oh ,wait, wait , wait . i forgot something .

Its the Mighty Halo 3 . how can i miss something that started all this Xbox online madness , Throughout these years , none has ever made an impact on me like Halo did, with Halo 3 , i got everything i wished for , a gr8 way to end a super legendary trilogy , an online experience second to none , an online community supported by millions .

Countless no of hours & years spent on its multiplayer ,Halo just keeps gettin better & bigger every time, with Halo 3 ODST Next Month & Halo Reach in 2010 , Halo is not done , The King of Kings may be resting , but i tell you 1 thing , when he returns , my world surely will pause for a while & i ll be in a different world,dont be surprised to see records being broken once again when the real HALO with the master chief arrives . i am proud to be a fan of such an awesome franchise throughout these years ,still more to come . thanks a lot Bungie & Microsoft for bringing the Halo awesomeness . here s hoping for the Chief S Return on the 720 someday :wink:.

for the last couple of weeks i ve been playing too manny online only downloadable games & that to be some of the best this year. its a mini review of them instead of full 2,3 pages . hope u like them .

lets start first with Splosion man . this one s just 10 bucks on the 360 ( its exclusive )& offers a neat platforming game along with a solid humour as well , also has multiplayer for upto 4 people , the online part is a bit different than the story mode , but still fun to play if u can grab 2,3 friends . the story mode gets challenging later on when u have to deal with enemies while doing platforming . the checkpoints are done well . so if u fail at something u can try that section again & move on to the next 1 . this is also the very first game to feature unlocks for your avatar on the 360 . i havent beaten the story mode yet , but when i do that i know that there s some cool stuff i ll be unlocking for my avatar .

My Score 8/ 10 . Verdict - if you love platformers & challenge , Splosion man s the thing for u :wink: .

Speaking of avatar & the 360 , i am few of those people that got the latest XBL update before August 11 , the new nxe update doesnt feature too manny new upgrades at all like facebook or twitter integration with live, but does feature some improvements for the current 360 dashboard . Everything now feels much organised & easier to navigate , there is also an eject button now on the dashboard that was needed in the first place , the achievement browser is quiet similiar to the previous one but with faster load times , another thing i noticed is that everything works way more faster now , the load times to open up marketplace content , friends list , invites works way much faster now , there is also a party reconnect feature now ( sigh of relief) .

another feature it adds to the dashboard is the Avatar Marketplace where u can buy stuff for your avatar with real money , the new update itself features a good amount of free clothing for your avatar , so need to buy stuff for your avatar unless you want to buy it . i saw some cool fable 2 & halo 3 clothing & instantly bought some halo clothing for my avatar , here is my 360 avatar with some halo clothing & a RC warthog .

i dont have netflix in my country , so no use of the party system for netflix , but if you are in the U.S , than that feature will surely be useful for you . overall its a nice update , not a major one , but improved version of the current NXE along with Avatar Marketplace & Games on Demand which i am looking forward to . if you dont have this update , dont worry , you ll get it on the 11 of this month .

Back to arcades , next is FAT PRINCESS .

I ve been tracking this game ever since i saw its gameplay footage , it was supposed to come out in july but got delayed & no date was announced , all of a sudden sony dropped the news last week that fat princess is on its way to PSN in a couple of days , i somehow managed to arrange PSN credits to grab it on day 1 & it was totally worth it . the core gameplay is more of an RTS along with some team fortress 2 elements . its not a teamfortess 2 ripoff at all & not exactly what an rts has to offer . its a 32 player online offline game ( PSN exclusive ) where both teams defend their castle with enemies princess held captured into their base & the main object is to rescue your princess back to your castle . there are different klases to choose ( sorry 4 choosing the word klass since gs has a problem with the word cl*s), they are worker, priest ,warrior , ranger & the mage .

all of these klasses can be upgraded by collecting resources such as wood . only workers can collect resources & keep upgrading their castle & otherklasses such as The preist klas basic default ability plays as a medic , once the preist is upgraded , it unlocks its second ability that can squeeze out enemy s health ,you can switch these powers whenever you want ,other cl@sses such as the archer ,maze & ranger once upgarded sport a secondary weapon or ability as well. all the klasses are well balanced & like other team based games . another cool feature of this game is to make your enemies princess fatter, this can be done by feeding her cake scattered throughout the map,the more you feed the princess with cake , the heavier she becomes :P . more heavier is more diffcult to rescue :lol:.

Fat princess requires a ton of teamwork , the team that works together stays together . the game has a lot for everyone here , fat princess will surely amaze from kids to adults , the gameplay becomes very addictive.

in my case i played it straight for 7 plus hours & didnt felt stopping at all , with all mp games there are technichal difficulties , glitches or lag on start , this game aint no different , the first day was ok ,but on day 2 it was hard to get into a match , there were several dissconects as well after playing a round for almost 30 minutes where the host will leave & the game will search for a different host & in the end it ends , some of the trophies dont unlock even after performing the task for it , in my case i have 2 that didnt unlock :(, my stats show that i ve earned it but trophy is still locked , the game needs some patching asap . the server issues are mostly fixed now for the most part & everything is all smooth now . i had a gr8 weekend with fat princess all in all & it just the start , its easily the best online arcade game for the PSN , if you have a ps3 & love to play online ,grab fat princess now on the double , it wont let u go anywhere for months & months , best PSN game out yet imo.

My Score - 9.5/10 :wink: Verdict - GET IT.

Last but not the least BATTLEFIELD 1943 .

The BATTLEFIELD Franchise is certainly no stranger when it comes online multiplayer , i ve been a huge fan of the franchise since the beginning on the P.C , have put countless no of hours into Battlefield 2 in the past , not just BF2 , but BF 1942 ,BF 2142 ,Bad Company & now BF1943.

BF1943 is basically a remake of 1942 , what dice have done with 1943 is recreated 1942 s best maps with newer graphics , some minor changes , better physics along with that the addictive gameplay of battlefield that never gets old , it runs on the frostbite engine , the same engine that powered bad company . its a 24 player online first person shooter .

There are 3 different klasses to choose from , Riffleman , Assualt & Sniper . each of them consists 2 different weapons , along with grenades & unlimited ammo that regenerates after a while just like your health , its not totally unlimited in that sense since it regenartes , its done really well to avoid any frustration where you are runnin like a monkey all over the place screamin AMMO . the core gameplay trully lives up to the battlfield name , it features the legendary conquest mode where teams battle for territory . the more territory you capture , the more your chance of winning. there are 4 maps , iwo jima , wake island , guadalcanal & a dog fight only map called coral sea .

BF1943 also features a squad based system like previous games , you can create squad with friends online upto 4 or just join a random squad while playing on a server , being in a squad really helps your way into victory , once you are dead , you can respawn right at your squad members location if he/she is alive , a smart squad can turn the tides of a battle , since i played it mostly with friends in squad, we ve been victorious 90 % of the time , caping bases alone wont lead the team to victory , but capping important bases along with teamwork can definately lead ur team to victory , there are 4 different types of vehicles to choose, a tank , a jeep , a boat & a plane , out of the 4 , the tank is the most fun i had with , it can dominate an entire match , the plane s also fun , but requires too much practice & patience to fly it the way it was meant to be:P , a pro pilot can just pwn people in BF1943 , jeeps & boats should only be used for faster transportation since a jeep can carry upto 3 dudes & boat can carry upto 4 dudes at a time , the action is all fast paced , all the 3 cl@sses are fun to use , snipers have a lof of room here as they are equipped with a really cool sniper along with a pistol ,grenades & C4 that comes in real handy to take out tanks in an instant. the assault cl@ss features an smg , an rpg , grenades & a repair feature that can repair tanks, boats, planes & jeeps.

out of the 3 different cl@sses the riffleman is my favourite cl@ss & is the most recommended cl@ss to all the people , the riffleman klass features a solid old school battlefield riffle along with a grenade launcher , the riffleman klass is the most powerfull klass out of the 3 , its usefull for close combat & long range as well , while the grenade launcher can save your @ss in a tough spot with ease . for the most part i ve been using this cl@ss and its is also the most fun klass to use out of the 3 , all of the different cl@sses sport melee as well . 1 hillarious thing from bad company returns here as well , that is people screamin insanely loud while dying in that way ( u know what i mean :P ) , its mostly headshots or close shots & i guarantee you ll hear a really lol loud scream from the dude u just killed :lol:. check some videos at youtube for that , but try it yourself ingame & laugh out loud . aside from the default weapons & vehicles , BF1943 also features air raid , its a really cool feature in the game , if used properly can get you a cool no of kills in no time , all 3 maps have this feature , 1 of the bases in all of the 3 maps will be marked with a 3 airplane logo ,head inside the bunker & you ll be in control of 3 controled planes that are ready to do some serious carpet bombing , you need to look carefully through the map & target the most enemy populated area, you guide these planes with the right analog stick , once you reach the target , open up a can a of whoop @ss on the enemy team.

if you are on the recieving end of this carnage , there is a way to stop it as well , throughout the map , there are anti air turrets hop onto it & take them out or just grab a plane & stop them . the game is extremelly well balanced & really fun to play for hours , even with4 maps it never gets old. if you ve got friends with you that play this game , then you are in 4 a treat , you can have tons of fun with BF1943 if you play it with friends & thats the way what playing online is meant to be . all in all , BF1943 delivers an amazing online experience like none for the price it offers , its a striped down version of previous battlefield games with no upgardes ,unlocks , but still delivers on the battlefield name . just for 15$ , Its a Steal , highly recommended multiplayer game for the 360 & ps3 ( out on pc soon) . Totally worth the 15 bucks . Best Multiplatform Online Arcade Game:wink:

(a very good PC only friend of mine picked a 360 itself last year to play Bad Company with me & now BF1943 & when this comes out on the P.C , its my time to return the favour by getting on the PC as well , PC Fans waiting for 1943 will love this game a ton , its been a while that BF made to PC , untill Bad Company 2 & BF 3 arrives , BATTLEFIELD 1943 surely will keep things freshfor the Battlefield franchise , now i need to play BATTLEFIELD Heroes as well , havent tried it since the beta ).

There never has been , never will be a franchise as awesome as HALO for me . This single franchise is not just the franchise that made me comfortable on Consoles after being a PC gamer, but gaved me the sense of perfection , something that none has ever achieved , i have played all the biggest names in the industry & at the end of the day , i always ask myself , what is that seperates HALO from the pack, there may be 1000 X Better game than it , but none can ever match the perfection that is HALO to me & formillions around the world .taking gameplay , story , sound , graphics , multiplayer, co op , online co op , community features , taking everything to its level best in a first person shooter ,mixing everything the best way is something where other franchises have failed in front of HALO,(GTA s an exception ). HALO scores to me on all fronts every now & then, back in the day when i moved on from PC s to consoles ,i started with the PS1 & PS2 , but First Person Shooters were always my cup of tea since i was a PC gamer, HALO was the first one that did justice to fps on consoles , not just that but revolutionize console gaming & online gaming in general , taking it to the next level. years have passed & i have put countless no of hours into Halo , 1 , 2 & 3 . probably my most played games ever , the best replayability i ever had out of a video game.

Thanks BUNGIE for everything , you guys are awesome .The Fight may have been finished , but the memories are there forever . thanks for the memories chief , The King of Kings will be remembered forever .

being a huge hardcore fan of The Gears of War franchise , it make absolutely sick that Microsoft has once again screwed their loyal fanbase in typical MS fashion . Gears 2 MP never got fixed at all . there is some serious lag all the way & glitchers everywhere ,the host advantage plain sucks , matchmaking is terrible . yet i still played it for countless no of hours . if you happen to be the host , you can just simply take down the entire team by yourself . if you happen to be on the other side , you are screwed royally . this makes me absolutely sick with this fact , there s nothing cheap then having a host advantage , when i started gears 2 mp , i used to play it on my own & never figured this thing out untill i started partying up with friends & playing together . since we used to play in a party on XBL , host or not , we hardly ever lost a game , thanx to team co ordination , strategy & understanding , but not everytime you are gonna be a host & when that happens , it lags like hell & you cant even shoot your enemies , there is bullet lag & to make matters worse there is movement lag as well, making it impossible to win .

When we are the host , we feel pitty sometimesfor the other team that they cant hit us , this problem exists from day 1 & epic dont give a rats ass about that. there should be a level plain field for everyone , host advantage should not be the choice for strong MP componnent games like Gears of War , Halo 3 doesnt have this kind of problem , there is some lag sometimes , but not on that level gears 2 is . with 4 tittle updates in the past , glitches do exist & still we play it to death. buy its DLC , pay for it & still get screwed , they come up with even more DLC that has all the previous DLC along with 7 new maps & A Deleted Single Player Chapter & just to hype that things a lil bit more , they leak the DLC on XBL right before 12 days of its release that to for 50% off . people smart enough knowing that grabs it before the rest of us that to be for 50 %, starts uploading videos at youtube , common MS gimme a break , had it been for a retail disc , it would be fine , but releasing it on your own marketplace for a couple of hours & saying that it was accidental just makes me laugh . Gears 2 is still No 4 on the top 10 list , with things like this & newer & better MP games out now such as Battlefield 1943 , i can only see Gears 2 going downhill . i cant boycott the dlc , since i am a fan of it & totally want to play the new maps with my friends . so in the end MS gets the money ,but loose total respect . with that said & since epic aint gonna fix the bugs & lags in gears 2 , i ll retire from gears 2 mp soon , had it been for me playing it alone , i would have left playing it ages back.

Gears 2 MP is special to me , i have enjoyed Killzone 2 MP, Halo 3 MP, Resistance 2 MP in the recent times, all of them are good , but none comes close to me than gears 2 &1 more MP game which BTW ismy all time favourite .most of my friends love to play gears 2 all the time & playing it together is next to nothing especially on XBL , it lags like hell when u are not the host , but somehow we still manage to beat the odds most of the time ,i had some insane amount of laughter & fun in gears 2 , me & my friends all have played it to death , the most fun we had ever together ,thanx to top qualityfeatures of Xbox LIVE,it feels so dissapointing in the end , the thing u like playing the most is broken &cant be fixed ,and games that are already fixed such as Killzone 2 doesnt have that substance or challenge that gears 2 brings in , we always hope that gears 2 mp will be fixed , but that doesnt change the reality . its just for friends & challenging mp in gears 2 that keeps me going everytime i turn on my 360, but after experiencing a lot of troubles from this game in the past & no reply from Epic or MS either , its in my best decission to retire from gears 2 sooner than later & get back to my favourite online mp game of all times ( u know what i am talking about here :P )after finsihing my unfinished games which BTW is doing all good . 4 MGS games , Mass Effect & 50 % of inFAMOUS , cant wait to be back in the skies ,you know what i am talking here about :wink:

WarhawK , well i aint gonna write another 100000 pages on the awesomeness of this game , but still i ll say 1 thing here , you are a fool if you have a ps3 & havent experienced WarhawK yet .

In other news i got all the DLC for KZ2 , played that game as well for a week & got bored again,there is something rite & wrong about this game , it used to be lag free & now it does lag at times , not as much as gears 2 , what really breaks the game is the variety in kz2 & maps that sometime feel really tight for 32 players , for the most part ended up in a grenade fest & thats the thing i totally hate about it , the maps should have some room to move for 32 players , the new maps are all good , but after a while, it gets old fast, there s some more dlc bound for july 23 , which i am looking forward to , i hope that doesnt gets boring the way previous dlc did .

There are other Galaxies to explore

completed Mass Effect & its DLC , totally enjoyed it , First playthrough was just the tip of the iceberg , will definately do a second playthrough sometime . it is also my very first RPG that i finished on The 360 . 1 of the best games on the 360 i played . looking forward to Mass Effect 2 in 2010 , more on mass effect & mgs in my future blogs . Also picked Battlefield 1943 on XBLA , playing that thing nonstop like crazy after work , brings back lots of gr8 memories from previous BF games like BF2 , BF1942 ,BadCompany , feels good to be playing another new BATTLEFIELD game .i have bought a ton of new games since E3 2009 , not only games , but other stuff as well , i plan on doing a monthly blog soon. another thing i noticed as that i reached level 50 on Gamespot , never ever thought i would make it to 50 so fast :P. another long post in a while , catch me at BF1943 on XBL , its weekend time & i ll make sure i make the most of it ,Enjoy your video games & have a gr8 weekend everyone :wink:

after years of wait & wait, i finally finished my most wanted franchise that i have been dying to play ever since i bought a PS One ,i am talking about the MGS franchise ,i finished all the games in the MGS franchise including MGS 3 , MGS 1 , 2 & 4 . its spoiler free ,so feel free to read . i am quiet short on time , so let me make this quick & express my thoughts on the MGS series . in one word . SOLID , after Half life , Halo , GTA , Gears , Crysis , joins Metal Gear Solid in my gaming hall of fame .cant believei missed out this awesome franchise for so long . it was hard to go back & play on ps2 at first after playing some stunning games like Crysis & Killzone 2 , but hey graphics alone arent my cup of tea , gameplay matters to me the most with story . since we are short on time . i will discuss this some other time , got other awesome games to play as well . all i ll say is that Big Boss ,Solid Snake were just amazing in the series & for some reason i enjoyed the charachter of RAIDEN more than Solid Snake or even Big Boss , there are somethings & events in Raiden in MGS that reminded me of myself back when i was a teen , how tough those days were 4 me to live , fighting every day to just survive & eventually becoming something different i never thought of , things like that alone of Raiden in MGS just left a huge impact on me , making me the biggest Raiden fan ever . thanks to hideo kojima for creating such an awesome charachter like Raiden .with Raiden , it reminded me of myself , over the years , i ve been impressed with icons such as Master Chief , Gordon Freeman , Marcus Fenix & Niko Bellic .

I am not a tough guy in real life like marcus or the chief, its just that these charachters inspire you a lot & you feel like becoming them in some sort of way, but with Raiden , its like i am seeing myself here to what i was & what i ve become now ,during MGS 4, for the first time ever in a game ,my tears dropped onto the controller while playing it,sounds crazy , but mark my words ,if you dont have emotions in life ,MGS 4 will make sure you have some,still cant believe myself that i dropped some tears in a video game . RAIDEN was a total badass in MGS 4 ,hands down my favourite in the series . solid snake as well , but not that kind of impact like Raiden had , in short i am Raiden s biggest fan in this world, might even change my gamertag to some Raiden name in future. all i know is that The Metal Gear Solid series is 1 of the best in our industry , if you are about to retire from gaming, which i hope you guys never , however if you do , do yourself a favour to your gaming life ,Finish The MGS franchise before doing that , it is A Masterpiece, i dont know whether i ll be playing something s good as MGS 4 in future . thanks to hideo kojima , i got to play 1 of the best games ever made :wink:before i leave , here is a video from MGS 4 featuring Solid Snake & The Lightning itself known as RAIDEN .[video=6174329]

E3 2009 may be done , but i am cetainly not :P . still got tons of things to catch up to , downloading all the stage demos , teasers & gameplay footage in HD , this years e3 was upto my expectations. in this blog i would like to share the things i enjoyed at E3 2009. not some things like who had the best press conference or any bs like that, getting tired of people complaining & comparing the big 3 :P & the fact that i am a Xbox 360 , PS3, PC & Wii gamer not some system specific fanboy , i would like to share my thoughts on games that i liked & looking forward to in 2009 & 10 , hope you guys enjoy it:wink: .

1). Halo 3 ODST -Biggest news 4 me was a Confirmation of a new Halo from Bungie , i guess Bungie s still not done with halo , being a huge fan of the franchise , i expected future Halo s to happen , Master chief may be resting for a halo 4 ,which is good 4 him , time for other Spartans to take over , Chief & Cortana will be fine & 1 things 4 sure , when Master Chief returns , count lionhart4xtreme to be no 1 in line for the Chiefs triumphant return , Miss you chief , thanx 4 the legendary Halo 3 , still got my memories there . speaking of Halo 3 , bungie s not done yet with it , ODST drops this September & i certainly cant be more happier , i am glad that Bungie s all comitted taking Halo to the next level , i have 0% doubts that either ODST or Reach will dissapoint , wait & watch september & see ODST outsell every game released during that period ( just mark my words :wink: ). if Halo Wars can sell millions which happens to be a console only RTS , then just imagine how well ODST will do, the fact its a Halo by Bungie.

I have played some of the best games out there throughout my life & none has ever come closer to me than Halo & GTA , followed by The Gears of War, Half Life & Crysis franchise , Halo & GTA will still remain my all time favourites & i dont think so that any other franchise canreplace them , there are some games that you play & are just sold on it 4 ever , sure there may be 10 X better games than it , but the love for your favourites keeps on growing with time , i am glad that i played some awesome Franchises like Halo & GTA , Halo s still coming up with ODST & Reach , while R* still showing their support for Grand Theft Auto IV via DLC . hopefully A GTA V Vice City will be announced in future, here s hoping for the best .

2). Forza Motorsport 3 - Another GR8 news at this years MS E3 Press conference was the announcement of Forza Motorsport 3 , another MS exclusive this gen that i enjoyed a lot, after waiting a ton for GT 5 & sadly no release date at all , Forza 3 shows up & its looks quiet amazing , the moment i saw Forza 3 demo @ e3 , i asked myself , how in the hell Turn 10 managed to pull out those graphics on the 360 , its not better than GT5 Prologue , but certainly quiet closer to it , now after watching all the footage in HD, i can clearly say that Forza 3 will be the definitive choice for racing fans this year , Nfs Shift looks good , but i aint paying EA a single penny for the dissapointment that is nfs now, with shift ,not only they ve lost all the nfs charm , but lost all the respect from their fans , why name it nfs shift , why not launch it with a sepertate name & just call it Shift , with nfs shift , the name seals the deal , time for nfs fans to shift : P from Nfs to not 1 ,not 2 , not 3 , not 4 , but 5 racing games franchise that are certainly a hell lot better than nfs this gen, Forza 3, Motorstorm Pacific Rift , Burnout Paradise , Grid & GT 5 ofcourse , speaking of racers , Split Second looks quiet good , feels like a Burnout Revenge wannabe though , but still looks gr8 for being a new racing game , a demo will be cool . with Forza 3 out this october ,i certainly will be only buying 2 racing games in 09, one isForza Motorsport 3 , the other you ll findin this blog itself :wink:. with Grid , Midnight Club 3 & Pacific Rift still to be completed & a lot of Forza 2 cars to be unlocked . i ve learned a lot from mistakes in the past with my buying spree of games :P ,so no more buying spree this year, i know that i ve said this over a thousand times , but this time i ll try my best .BTW Picked Assault on Dark Athena on PS3 , The Wheelman on 360 & Mario Kart for the Wii today, pre ordered Red Faction Guerilla & Prototype :P .cant help it , Been A VIN D fan ever since fast & furious & Pitch Black) , found both Riddick & wheelman for 20 bucks each , Mario Kar for 49 $ , so not a bad deal at all hmm...

3). Uncharted 2 - i had a ball with the first Uncharted , not only it was the first single player campaign that i enjoyed on the PS Tripple , it was also the best looking game on the ps3 or any other console. with Uncharted 2 i expected some improvements in the gameplay department & after watching the Epic E3 Trailer , live demo & trying the beta myself , i am quiet impressed with Uncharted 2 , not only they have improved the gameplay with a better cover system & precise aiming & updated graphics to an already sweet lookin game, they ve added a ton of extra content to it making it a worthy sequel ,3 player Co op campaign , a neat multiplayer which is quiet accesible to the casual , the hardcore may be a lil dissapointed here , its no Modern Warfare or Halo :P , you certainly are not gonna spend that much time on its mp modes like you will with Modern Warafare 2 or MAG this year , but its quiet good for people that really dont like to play call of duty or the gazillion amount of fps online , its good for people that just wanna have some fun for a while after beating the campaign , MP wasnt needed in this game in the first place & i am glad they are not just alone focussing on the MP alone , co op is a huge add on to uncharted 2 ,this is the kinda co op game i ve been waiting for ages on the PS Tripple , glad naughty dog did it , learn something Guerrilla Games & Insomniac ( better do it with KZ 3 & R3) . Uncharted 2 is a must have for all ps3 owners this year & imo a strong contender for G.O.T.Y 2009 along with Modern warfare 2 ( which is bound to win the coverted G.O.T.Y tittle again this year ).

4). Modern Warfare 2 - Moden Warfare 2 doesnt need any introduction , i ve been a huge call of duty fan since the first game , i wasnt able to play call of duty 1 or 2 when they first released , thanx to demanding PC requirements , but when i got a new PC back in 2006 , i played the awesomeness that is call of duty & ever since then i ve been a huge fan of it , enjoyed all the games in the franchise , call of duty 3 which was made by treyarch wasnt that bad that people complain abt it over & over or is just me that loves call of duty so much :P, With call of duty 4 , infinity ward took the franchise into different new directions , which was a smart thing to do & by now you all know the success that is call of duty 4 ,last years world at war by treyarch prooved that even they can make a solid call of duty game & they did it in $tyle with quiet a neat campaign , co op play & the amazing MP which was straight out of modern warfare,not a bad thing imo , now with Modern Warfare 2 ,infinity ward has once again raised the bar in typical modern warfare fashion , out of all the e3 demo s , it was modern warfare 2 s demo that amazed me the most , the live demo at MS press conference was plain brilliant , not only did they showed improvements in graphics with stunning environments & large room to play this time around , but gameplay in general , new guns with a radar attached to it was quiet neat & looked impressive , the entire jet ski section was full of action , reminded me of arnie s "true lies" & brosnans "the world is not enough ":P . it was a solid demo to say the least , quiet enough to please any fan of the genre , no mp footage was shown at the show , but with infinity wards track record & the success of modern warfare 1 s mp mode that gaved a serious competetion to all the halo s , gears , battlefields & team fortresses , i can bet that Modern Warfare 2 s MP commponent will be huge & will probably win G.O.T.Y 2009 . The 360 demo prooved that the 360 has still got enough room to handle modern warfare 2 ,i appreaciate the fact when developers go out of their way & are totally committed to their projects , with Modern Warfare 2 ,they have prooven that on the 360 , its multiplatform & i have no doubts at all that they will deliver a solid game on all 3 platforms . this ones a must have for FPS fans in 09, already marked November 11 on my calendar, bring it on infinity ward :wink:

5). Assassins Creed 2 - ever since i saw the first teaser for Assassins Creed , i was totally sold on it & when Assassins Creed came into my hands , it totally lived upto all my excitement , but for only the first few hours :P , i did enjoyed Assassins Creed a ton , it had some cool gameplay elemnts, platforming was top notch & a well told storyline , the only thing that annoyed me was the repetitiveness nature of the game , after assassinating a couple of targets , it started to get old & very very repetitive , almost everything felt like the same thing , halfway through it felt quiet boring , but surprisingly the second half of the game was quiet interesting & towards the end it was crazy ,the way it ended, hinted at an obvious sequel . now with Assassins Creed 2 , it looks like they ve fixed most of the flaws that needed to be fixed , the new demo showed some really cool gameplay mechanichs, new ways to assassinate & approach a target , double blade kills FTW & if ubi s right about saying that have more variety this time around , i expect Assassins Creed 2 to be a total badass sequel . definately getting it on Release , oh & BTW PS3 version s got 6 exclusive weapons unlock via psp version of Assassins Creed Bloodlines ,i played the first one on ps3 & wanted to play the second on ps3 also , good thing ps 3 ver has some exclusive content( not sure about exclusive DLC s these days though, Fallout 3 Dlc Any 1 :P ). not only Assassins Creed 2 , also looking forward to Assassins Creed Bloodlines on the psp :wink:.

6). Super Mario Galaxy 2 - i didnt had a Wii when super mario galaxy released & really wanted to play Mario Galaxy & to my surprise Ninty announced a new 1this year, leaving me in a tough situation , skip smg now & get smg 2 or get both of it ? :P. New Super Mario Bros for the Wii looks good , definately getting both of them at release , also liked the announcement of Golden Sun for the ds , enjoy the first game a lot on my gba back in 96 , looking forward to that as well along with new Zelda for the ds .

7). splinter Cell Conviction - i recently picked up Double Agent just for 10 bucks brand new :) , finished a couple of missions & enjoyed a lot , thanx to distractions that is Gears 2 MP i havent beaten it yet , now that i ve locked Gears 2 only for Saturday Nites :P , i ll finish double agent along with my other incomplete home work :lol: . jokes apart , Splinter Cell Conviction s E3 demo was total badass , Sam Fishers new moves & all the stealth features shown @ e3 was pure awesomeness , i have played the previous splinter cell games in the past , though not beaten any of them yet , but this one felt a lot darker & personal than other games in the franchise ,since i am on a stealth spree these days with MGS 3,1,2,4 & Assualt on Dark Athena , i think it ll be the games in the splinter cell franchise that i ll be completing next , i hope so :wink:

8 ). Alan Wake - i have been waiting for Alan to Wake since ages, glad that he finally waked up at this years e3, i was starting to believe that Alan was an evolved snowlax pokemon :P . with all this tremendous hype surrounding alan wake , it was time for remedy to finally show us some gameplay footage from the game , the demo shown at e3 looked quiet impressive to me , the game showed a lot of cool elements , mostly it had to do with light , alan would point a flashlight onto his enemies & then shoot with his weapon, towards the end of the demo , alan throws a flare towards the enemies to buy some time & get away, the atmosphere was phenomenal , only after watching in HD , i can see all the sharp looking textures & environments , all of it looked top notch , it was a brief demo , but quiet amazing none the less , now i want to see more of it , i am sure that upcoming events like TGS & Liepzig , more will be shown , till then , all we can do is wait for snowlax , ah sorry alan wake :P. definately looking forward to it when it releases :wink:

9). Gran Turismo & PSP GO - i am not a fan of single player campaign on the psp platforms , for that i prefer my 360, ps3, PC Or Wii , what i really like on the psp is racing games, sports games or games that dont take too much amount of load times , in the past i ve enjoyed a ton of gaming with psp while on the move , whenever i had a trip or two , i used to carry a couple of sp games along with tekken dark resurrection & burnout legends & i hardly ever played a sp game during my journey & always ended up with tekken burnout or tony hawk underground remix, now that Forza 2 & GT5 P have turned me into such a huge fan of the racing simulator genre, its like a dream come true to have Gran Turismo on the PSP :oops:, i ve always wanted to play a deep racing game on a portable , ever since GT was announced for the psp launch , there has been tremendous hype surrounding it to what it can do on the psp platform, but as time went by ,GT was left alone in the dark & i almost lost hope that GT will ever see the light of the day on psp, now at Sony`s press conference this year, Polyphony Digital finally announced GT for PSP , which is gr8 news for fans of GT & racing sim in general . with no final release date for GT5 on the ps3 , its good news for GT fans that atleast a psp version is releasing in 09 . along with GT on the PSP , i am looking forward to Jak & Daxter The lost frontier , assassins creed bloodlines ,fat princess, Metal Gear Solid, the peace keeper, LBP & a PSP GO if my wallet allows :wink:.

10). God Of War III - last but certainly not the least , frickin God of War 3 , words alone cant describe the awesomeness of god of war & at e3 2009 , kratos just prooved that with an epic live demo , technically this game looks better than anyother game on the PS3 with the exception of Uncharted 2 , the gameplay is brutal than ever , there is chaos everywhere ,animation is top notch along with nonstop action filled with an amazing sound, if you didnt liked the god of war 3 stage demo , you sir , certainly dont have a good taste when it comes to action ,The GOW 3 demo was brief but superb , i wished they showed more of it . i expect a sweet collecters edition for this bad boy in 2010, cant wait for Kratos final confrontation with Zeus , coz in the end , " There Will Be Only Chaos " :wink:.

I also enjoyed all the stage demos at Gamespot live on all 3 days ,watched all the press conferences live & all the stage demos,gotta hand it to gs staff for organising another gr8 e3 event live this year .

I also enjoyed other games like MAG ,looks promising 4 the most part , but i need to see more , The Saboteur looks gr8 to what it does , its being made by pandemic & i hope this time they finish it before shipping unlike mercs 2 :lol: ,Heavy Rain was impressive as hell ,Brutal Legends looks kinda ok , but verry funy & brutral at the same time , i have nt finished Bioshock or Mass Effect , so skipped most of the Mass Effect 2 & Bioshock 2 footage to avoid any spoilers,other games such as bad company 2 & army of two 2 , battlefield 1943 , no more heroes 2 , blur ,all looked gr8, modnation racers also looks gr8 , the concept is quiet neat (but first i need to enjoy Mario Kart Wii that i just bought an hour ago :) ),never played ico or shadow of collosus or a FF game before, so didnt get excited for the last guardin or FF MMO announcement by sony , but i did enjoyed gameplay of FF13 , will be trying FFVII next week from PSN recommended by good ol friend lightwarrior179 for a very long time , Crysis 2 announcement on day 1 was huge , but a totally non existent teaser was a huge dissapointment & the other biggest dissapointment for me was No announcement, teaser trailer or even info on HL2 Episode 3 , Battlefield 3 announcement.

with TGS & other gr8 events around the corner i expect to see games that missed E3 such as HL 2 EP 3 , Max Payne 3 ,new games from Rare & some sort of teaser trailer of Agent from R* .

with E3 done , its time 4 me to take a break again from GS for atleast a month :P ( dont worry i ll still be checking out your blogs though), need to finish a ton of games that i left unfinished ,Gears 2 has been restricted for saturdays only from now untill dark corners arrive ( goddam , also locked warhawk , had to do this the hard way:P ), which means a hell lot of time to beat unfinished games that i ve been waiting for ages :P, MGS 4 , Mass Effect ,Bioshock , Fallout 3 , Fable II ,Zelda Twilight Princess, Dead Space , Prince of Persia & new games llike inFAMOUS , Prototype , Red Faction. i ll be active on twitter though , so you can catch me there if you want , i hope you enjoyed my E3 blog , thanx 4 reading , take care , c ya :wink:

This being E3, there's been a lot of impressive stuff on show. But nothing as impressive as seeing somebody play Ubisoft's RUSE on Microsoft's $20,000 touch-screen "Surface".

check out the live demo shown at e3 2009 , also check out the trailer for Ruse from Ubisoft , the very first game that features this awesome new tech . Gotta hand it to MS for creating such an awesome tech , too bad , we cant afford it at the moment for 20, frickin thousand $ . cant imagine playing Command & Conquer 4 , Company of Heroes 2050 & Age of Empires 3000 on it .

This is the definitive PC of our future or for gaming atleast :P, but the question remains will it ever be affordable to the consumers , only Microsoft can answer that .

I still havent posted my full impressions on E3 2009 about Ninty, Sony & Microsoft, will probably do it sometime monday .

The ODST demo though brief was really amazing to watch ,when has Bungie ever dissapointed , The Halo Universe is huge , i am glad that bungie is still making some more halo , thanx again bungie, My gaming world is in a better place now , all i wanted to know that it s comin,Master Chief surely has his time with halo 1 , 2 & 3 , time 4 the chief to rest & time for bungie to tell tales of other Spartans & ODST , i am sooooo glad about it that Bungie is bringing Halo Reach in 2010 & ODST this september , cant wait 4 it , bring all the awesomesauce , Bungie , we all love you :wink:.

But what really stole the show at MS E3 press conference was Microsofts Motion Cam & Project Natal , i am quiet short on time, soi ll make it real quick & not do a massive blog like ido as usual , so here it is , my 2 cents on ms press conference .

I just cant express hapiness with Microsoft E3 2009 press conference , all i wanted to know that its comin & it is . i guessed a lot of things that will happen & asome ofthem happened .

A New Halo , Alan Wake , Forza 3 , Left 4 Dead 2,ODST 2 Stage Demo . but out of nowhere came out Crackdown 2 , 1 of my favourite Xbox 360 games , another surpise was Alan Wake & Splinter Cell conviction gameplay footage , both looked phenomenal & played really awesome. The motion control cam , project natal , Milo was just pure awesomeness & The Megaton From Kojima .

in short , Microsoft just pwned the competition :P , not only with their exclusive line up of games , but a new motion cam that surely will have the Wii worried , plus bringing Facebook, Twitter ,Full 360 Gamedownloads , Full 1080 P movie stream on XBL where just the icing on the cake , MS press conference was hands down the best press conference i ve ever seen . IMO Sony & Ninty will need something huge to overshadow MS press conference , which i doubt they will be , for ninty, i have no idea , so cant say anything , for sony , a lot of their suprises are alreadyknown , THE PSP GO & its games , last year when MS steal FF13 from Sony , Sony said ,we dont pay for Exclusives , we make our own & we dont like to steal Exclusives , ahh well , sony , ull just eat your own words tonite, we know now that u payed bioware to get Mass Effect 2 multiplat :P , thats the shocker they plan on :lol:, i sound like a fanboy , :P. but hey its the truth , its all Sony s Blunders & Arrogance that have costed them a heavy price this gen , stupid quoutes like next gen doesnt begin untill we say so , showing up CG footage of motorstorm & KZ2 & making us belive its in game ,still no online standard like Xbl , no cross chats , no cross invites , Trophy sborrowed from XBL s achievement & calling MS a copy cat , i am glad what MS did this gen, its a lesson for Sony , hope they understand & dont let us wait 4 games , GT 5 still is nowhere to be seen , while Forza 3 is announced, lookin really good& comin out in just months . gotta hand it to MS , they played their cards really well :wink:

There should be some competition always , dont be a fanboy , enjoy all the games , last nite it felt that dam good to see fanboys getting pwnwed especially at N4G.COM . i always get pissed off seeing comments at that site about 360 , like its some real bad console , last nite it was turn of 360 fanboys to return the favour :lol:. god ..... these fanboy wars will never end . dont be a fanboy , be a fan of video games & i am glad that MS is doing that this gen , no just talk , but games , hope sony lives up to their promises & announce a ton of exclusives along with release dates .
