IT DOESNT GET ANY BIGGER THAN THIS

My EMERGENCE DAY came on NOVEMBER 17 and it was worth the wait guys as all the biggest games of the year for me arrived in a single day,I Played the NEXT BIG THING GEARS OF WAR,GTA VICE CITY STORIES,WWE SMACK DOWN VS RAW 2007,NFS CARBON , CALL OF DUTY 3,SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT,and the rest of the games that i got, i didnt even played them coz i was busy with these blockbuster next gen games on my 360. this day was so big 4 me that i cant tell u,i was in my office  when my preordered games arrived, it felt like being in 7th Heaven ,so i immediately went to my house and i first played

The Next Big Thing- GEARS OF WAR

 well i wont spoil anything here for those who havent played these games yet and reading this blog , so dont be afraid to read this blog as i wont spoil any thing of these games by telling u the story or anything like that.

So i first played gears and from the moment u start playing the game it becomes so addictive that its hard to describe here by words,i started shooting dudes, and become very comfortable with the controls as its configured perfectly and the real fun began when i crushed 4,5 enemies into pieces with the chainsaw mounted on my gun,it was very satisfying and it looked awesome in HD , and speaking of HD , i tried both res on my hdtv , it looked gr8 in 1080i ,but it looked awesome in 720p as it looked very sharp and detailed with a very smooth frame rate. i also tried it on my old standard def tv and it looked good on it,but in hd it looks MINDBLOWING :D, i ve never seen graphics in games like these :shock: before in my entire life,this game is just awesome and is indeed the next big thing and will be Game of the Year in my opinion, people are calling it an halo killer,it is a halo killer i think untill Halo3 arrives :P , well my favourite game is halo and to be very frank this games has topped all of the games in my gaming list:D, i think what gears of war is doing for the xbox360 is what halo did for the xbox. Gears of War has lived upto the hype , thats why i tittled my blog with Believe The Hype. gears is much more than i expected, i called it The next big thing from day 1 and people said ,its gonna be good, but i knew it from day 1 that it would be awesome and will be the biggest game of 2006 and it indeed is.GEARS OF WAR REPRESENTS XBOX360 .Enough said here. hey this blog doesnt end here, its just the beginning. WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2007

As u people know i m a very big fan of wwe and i ve played almost all the wrestling games in the past whether it be on snes,dreamcast,pc,ps1,ps2,xbox and now i got a real next gen wwe game and all i can say that its just SUPERB like othere wwe games were in the past, and may be the best wwe and wrestling game ever . i began wwe svr07 with DX :D vs Egde and orton in a tornado tag match and really beat the hell :lol: out of those 2 ,after beating edge and orton i tried almost every single match in the game like tlc , elemination chamber, burried alive ,steel cage, fullfill ur fantasy ,hell in a cell ,royal rumble and the most fun i had with was the new match added in this game,its the famous MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH :D(that i need to win this year at wrestle mania :P,so that ican buy myself a ps3:P) , this match is just awesome, there are 6 players in the game , all fighting for money in a briefcase hanged up to the roof which u have to get it by climbing a ladder, its like a tlc match , but it has a very different feel while playing as now u can do new moves if some1 is on the ladder, u can perform the move that shelton benjamin did at wrestlemania 20(if u guys remember that :P and its just awesome whether u play it or just watch it , well after a see saw match for almost an hour i won the match :D, i had chosen edge in this match with other opponents as mr kennedy, finlay, umaga, rvd, rey myesterio. then i tried 1of my favourite matches that is the ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH, i started the match with EDDIE GUERRERO as the no 1 entrant and luckily won the rumble match, i eliminated more than 14 guys in the match, i was bleeding in the game very badly but i managed to pick up the victory as i eliminated kurt angle in the end :P, i felt very happy after winning :D coz it was a tribute from my side to eddie guerrero and i didnt wanted him to loose that.the funniest and wierd entrance in wwe svr 07 i found was the entrance of THE BOOGEY MAN, dont miss his entrancewhen u guys get the game. but the best entrance 4 me was the DX and Rey Myesterio Entrance and Melina too :wink: i played this game the most out of all the games, i played it around 6 hours straight wothout any rest :D. then i tried

GTA VICE CITY STORIES

My favourite video game of all time is the Halo2  and GTA San Andreas (they are my favourite games and co winners in my list coz its hard 4 me to tell that which 1 is better).I played it for a couple of hours ,did 5,6 missions and enjoyed a lot , this game in my opinion will get the psp game of the year award,but killzone liberation is also a strong contender for it, but in my opinion this game is the best game on the psp yet right after gta lcs and daxter :D after that i played

NEED FOR SPEED CARBON

Fans of Most Wanted will like this game a lot , though i didnt played it much , just for an hour ,watched the first cutscene which is good, played some races , some cop chases and it felt awesome, the graphics and sound are awesome and been improved from the previous game :D.after that i played

CALL OF DUTY 3

From the moment i started the very first mission of this game, i said to myself wow :D,the graphics in call of duty 3 are very realistic and awesome ,its better than call of duty 2 in my oppinion. its an awesome game, i played it for 15 minutes and then switched to Double Agent coz i didnt had enough time left as i was about to sleep. SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT

This game is the best splinter cell game of all times guys :D, trust me , its just awesome, the graphics are superb quality and looks awesome in HD, i tried the training mission first then was about to complete the first mission untill i alerted the guards :Pand they smoked me :P. after that i was feeling very tired , so i decide to switch of my 360 and went to sleep, i didnt even checked other games that i got, i ll check them later.

I LL NEVER FORGET NOVEMBER 17,its the biggest day im my gaming and real life next to my 360 purchase :D. i guess NEXT NOVEMBER 17 will be even bigger coz at that timr GTA 4 :D and hopefully HALO3:D will arrive along with may be a new wwe and nfs game or may be call of duty 4 , and a new splinter cell , well i hope u guys enjoyed this blog , thats it for now gotta go play some gears with MARCUS PHEONIX :P, i ll end this blog ,its getting too long ,i ll end it with this guys:D ,check it out :D, ENJOY

MY  EMERGENCE DAY IS TODAY :D,I am in my office right now, i ve not even opened these games yet,been posting this blog .Got to go home now as THE NEXT BIG THING HAS ARRIVED 4 ME :D and GTA VCS , CARBON, WWE SVR07, I m in 7th Heaven right now :D .its the ps3 launch today and i think its the 360 launch 4 me coz i recently bought my hdtv , 5.1 speakers and now the best 360 games out there and some common ps3 launch tittles . now i can officialy say that I AM BANKRUPT , so feel free to send some money here:P

Man i am sooooooooooooooooooo excited today as the PS3 is gonna launch today :D, i wish i had a PS3 at Launch :( well i ,am not getting the ps3 at launch coz i am already bankrupt :lol:at the moment with my HDTV ,Surround Sound 5.1 Speakers and a Dozen 360 Games :D that i ll be getting today right at the ps3 launch day :P. sounds insane :lol: that i am buying a dozen 360 games at ps3 launch day :P and GTA Vice City Stories . I felt very happy today coz a very good friend of  mine :wink: got an opportunity to play the PS3 for a minute, its like a feeling that i played the ps3.

so guys be ready to watch the liveshow right here at gamespot today as the PS3 Launches Today :D. So congratulations to those who got a PS3 and best of luck to myself :P for buying the ps3 soon :D and i ll be getting the newsest 360 games ,some old games that i missed and ofcourse gta vice city stories and THE NEXT BIG THING Today :D, so its still a very big day 4 me :D

I ve got my HDTV :D now and now i need a good set of surround sound speakers to enjoy it at the fullest, i would appreciate any help that i get from my friends here at gamespot, so guys feel free to help me out on this :P Since i have an HDTV now and left around 450 $ in my bank that i saved for the Wii and 5.1 speakers. But i can get a Ps3 Next Month With 2 games, but i ll need some money that i ll borrow from my dad :D Thing is that i dont have a good sound system if i get the ps3,so i wont be able to enjoy it, and i dont want to spoil my next gen experience sine i got HD and 360 . Games without sound is like bread without jam or an uncooked pizaa :(.i have a 2.1 speakers in my pc ,but its average and cant be used in my HDTV:( and my older TV had a woofer and in built speakers that were awesome . Here is what happened today with me

My pc vendor here in my town is a very good friend of mine, so i called him up today and explained him that i have a 360 and an HDTV and needed a good set of 5.1 speakers to enjoy games in it with an awesome sound quality, He quickly responded to my request and suggested this,these pics are of logitech Z-5300 5.1 Speakers THX certified with matrix mode (dunno what matrix mode is)

He was so kind that he actualy sent it to my home and said that u keep it for 2 days and check urself whether its upto the mark or not , i was shocked :shock: that he sent it at my house for testing it .First i thought which game should i test on it, and the very first game in my mind came out to be Far Cry Instincts Predator, far cry itself is a good game for testing sound and graphics. i played far cry around 40 minutes and was impressed by the sound quality as far cry s setting are in jungle and i can clearly hear the sounds of the environment like birds , trees ,water waves and enemy footsteps nearby me in the game. Then i switched to Nfs Most Wanted ,and the moment the race started i was shocked :shock: by its mindblowing performances , the tires screech , braking, gear shift and the background music was top notch quality.

Then i switched to Burnout Revenge and was again impressed ,everything sounded perfect. when i  near missed car coming from the oncoming direction at high speeds ,tires skidding and long drifts at high speeds. it was awesome .then i switched to Bully and GTA SAN ANDREAS (My favourite game :P) coz Bully and GTA San Andreas have an some awesome voice acting in the game,and it again impressed me.and now i can clearly say that these speaker are good enough for gaming.

And now i m quite confussed on what to do. i m very happy with my 360 and gears of war ,wwe svr07, nfs carbon, double agent and other 360 games will be with me in just some time . so should i buy these speakers and enjoy my 360 the way it was meant to be in HD and Surround Sound and wait for some time till January and get the Wii then and Finally Ps3 in April or When i have enough money to buy it or should i buy the Ps3 next month with 2 games and skip the Wii and speakers indefinately or untill i have money to buy them :( . i cant make up my mind , but i think that i should stick with these speakers if i want to enjoy my 360 and other games at the fullest coz these speakers are compatible with my 360, PC and other Consoles. may be i m becoming too greedy at the moment coz the Ps3 has just arrived and i want it badly . i know what i have to do , but still confused all over :(. here s a link to the features of these speakers

I Cant believe that i bought my HDTV today ,its awesome, i feel like that now i ve   bought a 360 as now i played in HD and the graphics were almost double :shock: or tripple :shock: than a standard defination TV. I played dead rising , graw, saints row, nfs , far cry ,moto gp 06 and it looked unbelievable at 720p and 1080i Resolutions, i cant believe my eyes :shock:. if u have a 360 or ps3 than HDTV is a must have, the graphics in standard tv are not capable of showing the potential that these games can show, when i played dead rising and far cry , i was like in seventh heaven :D.

I never believed that games can look this dam good on console,i have a high spec pc with me, i played far cry on it last june and today i played far cry in HD on my 360 and it looks really sharper than the pc Version. its awesome with games like far cry, saints row, graw and dead rising . i also enjoyed the nfs carbon ,wwe svr07 and tony hawk project 8 demo. now i feel like that i never played these games coz now i am playing it in HD and its awesome.

I want to thank everyone who helped me with my decission on buying and HDTV . i ve ordered some awesome games like gta vcs for psp that i ll get it tommorow :D, gears of war , nfs carbon ,double agent ,just cause ,doa 4, pgr3 ,test drive unlimited and the godfather for the 360 that i may  get in a week or two :D and right now still left with some money around 450 us $ that i ve saved for the Wii or may be the PS3 . if i buy a ps3 then  i need around more 300 $ for games and other stuff. so i may pick up the  Wii first next month and will wait for ps3 till MGS 4:D. or may be the PS3 first in JAN and a Wii in June :lol:

Hey this is my room and my games collection there, there a lot of ps1, ps2 ,xbox ,pc and 360 discs behind them that i ll show u guys next time :D ,this room is designed by me, Its been 6 months that i made it and now its perfect i guess with everything in it,nowi need a big fridge here i guess :lol: , so that i can eat more pizzas and pastries lol :lol:.This  room is now a dream come true. i waited for this moment since i was a kid when i didnt even had a nes :( and now i ve made my dreams come true :D, its now like paradise even got better :D.Now i dont have space to keep my pc in room :(, well who needs a pc when u have a next gen console and an hdtv :P in ur room . may be i ll shift my pc to my office and bring it back when crysis and hl2 ep2 releases :P

MY HDTV

Guys if u have a 29 inch regular tv then a 26 inch HDTV is more than enough for gaming, it may look small in size but when u play games on it, u dont feel that its small , infact i think that its much wider than my previous standard 29 tv. and if u are currently using 21 tv then u ll feel a much wider experience. i was planning a 32HDTV, but i was short on cash and didnt had enough space to fit in my room, thatz why i chosed a 26 inch HDTV. So try a demo of games before buying it and this size is good for small rooms like mine and viewing distances of 7 to 9 feet .From my experience this 26 hdtv is perfect for ur small room and if if u have a bigger room and viewing distance of  10 to 15 feet then go in for a 32 or 40 inch HDTV. and guys there isnt too  much of a difference in 1080i and 1080p resolutions as 1080p is just a bit smoother while playing games.my hdtv supports upto 720p and 1080i resolutions.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY XBOX

Hey guys its 15 November today and today xbox turns 5 years, SO wish u a Happy Birthday XBOX :D. well mine xbox birthday is next month on 18 dec ,my xbox will turn 2 years old on that day :Dthere were some rumours that ms might make an announcement regarding halo3 s launch date, i hope they announce something gr8 :D

i was very sad today :( as today was eddie gurreros first death anniversary , i was in my office all day, tried to keep myself busy ,played some wwe smackdown with eddie on my psp, that cheered me up a little bit. and in the evening just when i was on my way to home ,a friend of mine called me up on my cellphone and told me that bully has arrived in stores ,so i imediately went to my friends place, picked him up and went straight to the store and bought it.

That put a smile on my face :D finally in the entire day  when i got bully , i felt very happy , i ve been waiting for this game from a lot of time and finally got it, also my friend bought nfs carbon , just cause ,okami and bully for his ps2 (he doesnt have a  360 ,thatz whe bought it on ps2) ,i was also gonna buy it,but i didnt coz i will buy the 360 version when it arrives here.

 Then we went to my friends gaming parlour , he owns a gaming parlour in my town which is very popular here in my town . we played all 3 games on the ps2.

We first tried nfs carbon on the ps2 which $ucked big time on the ps2 ,nfs carbon on the ps2 looks so bad that i cant tell u, the game looks awfull, may be its the developers fault coz i heard that xbox version still looks good when compared to 360 version. games like underground 2 looks better than carbon on ps2. but if u dont have any other console or a nfs fan,then only buy the ps2 version .i tried 4,5 races and the crew mechanics feature is a good addition to tye series , i also had some cop chases when i was roaming in carbon and succesfully evaded it , i picked camaro ss in the begining of the game, its a good car .

Then we tried just cause on the ps2 and it looked very cartoonish :P . i was gonna laugh in front of my pal :lol: on those 2 games, but didnt did that  coz he would feel bad :(, and he s also getting a wii or a 360 :Din some weeks , so he is ok at the moment with these games on his ps2  .

And Finally we played BULLY and it was awesome from the begining :D, we played for 5 minutes and then i got back to my house and played it for some time  and really enjoyed . bully has been worth the wait . Bully is a must have game on ps2 , Bully Reminds me of my old days from school were i had also bullies around me that i used to teach them a lesson by beating the $hit out of them :D. i did that in the game too and i also beat a proffesor in the game very badly :lol: . i wish could have done that to my chemistry proffesor :lol: back in my school days  .it was good to see my ps2 in a while since OKAMI

 ,which i played and i can say is a masterpiece in my opinion.  i ll save these 2 games for later when i get time. it ll look awesome when i ll play them on hdtv.i ve also orderd gta vcs and some 360 games ,that i ll get it maybe today. i took a pic of bully from my phone, check it out

Last year on the 13 of November  we lost a very good friend ,EDDIE GUERRERO .Its been a year since eddie guerrero passed away. but i still remember him , he will always be remembered by me and wwe fans. this blog is a tribute in memory of one of the best guys that the wwe had. we miss u EDDIE ,THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES. we will always remember u , i feel like cryin at this moment , i am a very emotional guy and its sad that eddie is gone forever and will never ever come back ,he may have gone but will remain in our hearts forever ,i hope his soul rest in peace , good bye eddie , i miss u buddy ,we all miss u, u were one of the best guy that wwe had and its sad that you are not here. love u eddie.

I started playing on XBL last nite from 10pm and played till morning  7am ,slept for some hours ,and got back on XBL again at 12.30 pm :D ,and i ve been playing games like  burnout , battlefield 2 ,and saints row on XBL all day long, i even missed my lunch during that :P. at 11 pm i realized that i am hungry :shock:, i took a break for 15 minutes then back again in battlefield 2 , battlefield 2 was so addictive that i cant tell u guys , i wish all my friend here had a 360 :D, so that we can play it together :D . if i was bill gates :P or Vin Diesel than i would have definately gifted it to all my friends here at gamespot :D so that we can enjoy games together :P

I also played saints row a lot today , infact it was very funny at times with those ragdoll physics when u take some 1 out with a rocket launcher or hit them by a car :P. i tried every single mode in saints row today and the ones that i enjoyed was Blinged out Ride  , it was awesome. Now its 4 in the morning here and i am soooooooooooo tired that i m gonna fell down i guess :P , so i m gonna sleep now . i might get my hdtv today :D if its available ,i ve already ordered it ,its out a stock here , i hope i get it today. well thatz it for now , happy gaming everyone :D, and here is a pic from what i did it in saints row today , now i say to myself , how did i did that, see for urself guys .:lol:

Last nite i tried the multiplayer portion of Battlefiled 2 Mordern Combat on XBL for the first time , and WoW it was Awesome ,i was so wrong about this game , Thing is that when i bought this game on the 360 i never tried it on XBL and played the single player campaign, i didnt liked the single player campaign of the game . and last nite a friend of mine was playing it on XBL , so i decided to give this game a try and was shocked :shock: that this game could be sooooooooooooooooooooo much fun. The multiplayer portion feels like what an Actual Battlefield would look like. There are very cool maps in the game and 2 of them are awesome,they are Bridge Too Far and Deadly Pass , these are the maps that i enjoyed the most .i also tried to fly a heicopter in the game which got crashed in just 10 seconds :lol: , after some tries i finally handled it and went on a killing spree , destroying any thing that moves even some of my own team members :lol: .I evem missed my sleep last  nite , i was playing it up till 7 in the morning :P. woked  up at 12.30 , brushed my teeth :P ,had my breakfast and starting playing it again :lol:

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat on the 360 is very ADDICTIVE. i enjoyed this game better than counter strike or unreal tournament 2004, i know u cannot compare it with cs , but being a multiplayer game this game is one of those games which is in top3 in my  list on multiplayer games . Counter Strike is no longer on top off my multiplayer games , there was a time when i used  to play cs like hell. but due to some high ping and problems in the recent times, i  could hardly play it . i will rate this game a 9 out of 10 , i would have given it a 10 if the single player campaign would ve been good . but still this game is pure fun

I Also downloaded the TONY HAWKS PROJECT 8 DEMO and i loved it .i love skateboarding games (i wish i could do these tricks in real life someday :P).This game would be just awesome, i ll be getting the full version as soon as it gets here. check my previous blog if u like far cry.

1 of my favourite games on pc and xbox360 is  FAR CRY and now its on his way to the Wii .i enjoyed all the far cry games in the past. far cry is just awesome. i am a very big fan of far cry and its hero s jack carver (this guys got some attitude ).i ve beaten the original pc version this year. not completed the 360 version of far cry predator coz i m waiting for my HDTV first :D.The wii version of farcry is a remake of far cry preadtor with some changes in it . it will be gr8 coz of the Wii remote  the game is lookin similiar to the xbox version or lower than an xbox version (not the 360), its no where near to the 360 or pc version .i ll be buying this game for sure .here  are some screenshots and  the official trailer for far cry vengeance.check it out
