Yes, the PSP has a standard headphone jack. You can use any standard headphones, including iPod headphones.

Yes, they work. Though after having thoroughly burnt out my i-pod headphones in regular use, I'd suggest looking for a better pair in general.

On a side note, I miss the early PSP's having a volume control on their headphones cord. T_T

If you've got a sturdy surface, bottle caps work as feet quite well. And, I really don't know much about the machines themselves, but don't some models have less RROD trouble then others? I've heard mixed reviews about Jasper models having less errors in that realm. Though, as you HAVE an Xbox, and aren't in the MARKET for one, that really might not help

Sometimes in a Final Fantasy game, I suppose that the story can start out a little confusing at first, but it comes together as the game proceeds. Final Fantasy games are largely story-heavy and also heavy on character development, both in the story and in the game itself. Final Fantasy games can take quite an investment of your time.

It's a great series.

I can agree with the content of this post, but not the sentiment. It's a painful soap-opera-like series. But it's pretty, well funded, and the plot's so deep you can drown(if you can get far enough into it, the water smells bad and looks like a septic tank to me O_O). But if you enjoyed the one you played, you'll probably enjoy the rest of them and it'll make a bit more sense how they fit together. At least, you'll like XII, X, and X2. VIII was a bit different then the current theme of Final Fantasy's.

Newsflash...Fable 2 still sucks!KC_Hokie
"Bitter" isn't a pretty color for you. But I can admit; if you liked Fable I you had certain expectations of Fable II. And on some fronts it failed. The "real world" aspect was arguably one of those fronts; I'm so sick of seeing hearts over the head of every villager crowded into the doorway I'm TRYING to leave through, yet hearing them scream when I turn my head. >_< Also, the F1 balverines were better.

GTA IV for sure. Sometimes I just walk down the street to watch the AI do things. Like see them get arrested, and have random gang fights, stuff like that.

Yeah, I gotta agree with that; the city functions "without you" in a beautiful way in GTA IV. But the laziness of the police sorta bothers me, three blocks shouldn't be too far to chase a killer in a stolen car. As far as city-enforced ramifications go, I have to hand that to Fable II; at least the guards wanted to kill me for my crimes after I'd left and come back.

Sadly, as a middle-class American girl I can only speak for myself. gallygirl
Wait, what?I feel sorry for anyone delusional enough to think playing games on the internet is going to get them abducted, unless they've decided to reveal their home address to complete strangers

Like I said; I "think." It's not my personal opinion, nor do I agree, but I do think that some(NOT ALL, did I put enough qualifications in here yet?) girls have some sort of weird unidentifiable "block" that deters them from chatting over mics; I'm working on my basis of knowledge from college girls who play mmorpgs, so it doesn't translate directly. And, as I mentioned, it's just a theory. You're welcome to disagree with it.
No. That's like saying women don't talk because most of them are stupid and delusional. That is not the reason why.Legolas_Katarn
Once again, you can disagree with me, but it doesn't make the theory entirely crap. I'd prefer a constructive argument as to WHY I'm wrong then a "gravitycat says you're a retard answer.

Random girl-gamer's two cents....
I guess the majority don't care for FPS or TPS multiplayer games.XCyberForceX
This is sadly true; the girls I know who game tend to either be very casual and only play games they can pick up and put down without effort. Games like Mario, where a three week hiatus doesn't let you forget the plot, or games like Uno, where it's a new game every time. Alternately you get the rabid Halo fans, some of whom are really into FPS's or shooters, but a large number of whom seem to be similar to the radical feminists who view lipstick as another way to let men be dominant; Simply put they play Halo to prove that they DON'T like Mario and think that girls who enjoy Mario are being "bad examples" somehow. There are, of course, all breeds of girl-gamer, but with a lower total number of players(then men), the small middle-ground percentage seems tiny. The female to male ratio lowers the total number of girls seen, so even if the same percent had their mic's on, we might never notice.

Also, if guys didn't act like jerks by saying stupid and disgusting things to female gamers more would have their mic on and interact more often. *rant omitted*

A) Good rant. Thank you. ^_^ B) Sadly, as a middle-class American girl I can only speak for myself. But as girls we have this fear of strangers beaten into us with horror movies and chain-letter emails about rape victims; I think a lot of girls are convinced that turning on their mic is the "first step" in the chain of mistakes that kidnapped and killed women make. Which is silly, to me; it's not like turning on your mic will suddenly alter you IP address and allow every creepy stalker access to your location. And christ, where I live a bunch of girls were RANDOMLY abducted and killed a few years ago. There was nothing to be done, so why live in a state of fear?! Ahem. /endrant
