Although that may be true, the same devolopers are putting games on 360 1080P but only 720P on PS3? whats with that, can you explane that (some examples are the orange box GRAW 2)
i understand that there are games with 1080P but not many, why dose sony keep coming out with only 720P games they advertise 1080P thats what i expected and thats what they have very little of.
Unless you have a TV that is larger than say 40 inches the resolution difference is not detectable. This is fact. That is why you don't see many 37" and smaller TV's that are 1080P. Did you notice that? The only 37" 1080P TV that I have seen so far is the Sharp Aquos.BMWPro77
I have a 19" 1080i in my room and my parents have a large HDTV 1080P in the family room (i dont know the inches) and i play my PS3 there too
MLB '07 The Show supports 1080P. Look at the back of the game box of the game you're curious about and it'll tell you the highest resolution that it supports. The PS3 does upconvert lower resolution games to work and look well on a 1080P HDTV.BMWPro77
Yeah BUT im looking for games that ARE 1080P and the PS3 has very few of those even though they used to brag "Oh look at this we have 1080P capability, to bad we mostly give you a selection of 720P games" suriously thats what they did....
If the PS3 isnt capable of produceing good 1080P games (NBA 08 needs very littly to run good) then they have no right to say how all there games are 1080P i got the PS3 for a select few games and i was very disapointed when they were in 720P that meens i have even less reason to get games on PS3 rather then 360 if a game is on 360 and PS3 then i would get it on 360, the games run better on it and now i know that PS3 cannot produce a good 1080P game the 360 hasent used 720P since there very first launch titles (and at that some of them had 1080i already!)
HDMI has the same output but is said to have a batter connection so use HDMI but if your T.V. is less then 1080P capability you might as well use component cables hope it helps =]
Is it true..... ive been doing a lil research and ive noticed that all the games ax at 720P, Sony bragged about the 1080P capabilitys while the 360 still had 1080i (there games used to max at 1080i but in april it went up to 1080P) and i just got my PS3 (i had xbox360 since last year) and ive noticed that the games only have 720P is it true, sony practicly lies about there Full HD games (1080P)
Lol, the same thing happend to me. I started playing xbox360 games and wonderd what the point of achivements was. Then i got my xbox live and realized how sweet it was to have a good gamer score and the achivments. Now when i play a game on another counsole im just saying to myself wtf is the point in beating this and getting everything i have nothing to show for it. so yeah i agree the achivment make me wanna play 360 more then the other counsoles.
