It is innacurate, but it's only a movie.the 'English' lords and Kings were actually Norman-English and would have spoken French, the 'Scottish' would not have worn kilts or looked like tribal mythical highlanders. There were terrible people on both sides, the Scottish weren't saints either, Scotland terrorised the north of England for hundreds of years, theres an old legend that it's still legal to kill a Scotsman in the city of York with a Longbow:P
my grandad is irish, but ive never celebrated it. ive been told that irish people find it annoying when non-irish people celebrate st patrick's day. it reinforces negative stereotypes about irish drinking culture
most of the SAS come from the paratroopers so they are just as elite as the SBS, they both have their strengths.

The SBS specifically recuits most of it's men from the Royal Marines, the SAS recruits from any of the UK military branches (including civilians in 23 SAS). The SAS are just the pop culture branch of the UK special forces, the SBS and SRR do the real dirty work

for Russia, Britain having nukes is like Cuba having Russian nukes. If the United states was attacked or attacks russia, Britain would have to follow orders and attack as well. Other European nations are not as closely linked to the American military establishment as Britain is

maybe but this only strengthens the argument of people like me in Britain, who think we should get rid of 20 billion worth of useless nuclear weapons. if america is happy to sell us this, and then stab in the back, we might as well not bother and live under your nuclear shield for free
