[QUOTE="sloakz"]DAMMIT Why would you ever want to use a controller in a PC FPS? They're terrible compared to mice, and even if you're one of the best console COD players out there you'd still get destroyed by even a mediocre player using a mouse. Anyway, COD4 is still popular. The same cannot be said for Halo 2 or Lost Planet which were never popular on PC to begin with. Hell, I'm pretty sure Halo 2 was DOA when it came to PC.Cod 4 doesnt support controllers

I'm depressed because you're not banned.sammyjenkis898Wasn't he banned awhile back? How'd he come back?
Our youth now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for their elders and love chatter in place of exercise; they no longer rise when elders enter the room; they contradict their parents, chatter before company; gobble up their food and tyrannize their teachers.

This is the requisite response anytime someone makes a post claiming that today's youth are less well behaved than past generations.
This isn't exclusive to Islam, it's just that currently most (if not all, I don't know) of the world's theocracies are Muslim. I'm sure that if fundamentalist Christians, for example, had their way the US would also have very similar laws to what you see in Islamic theocracies. This is just what happens when you let fundamentalists of any religion get full control of the government in a country.[QUOTE="gameguy6700"][QUOTE="Zeviander"]Muslims don't have to try very hard to make me hate their culture and religion. I cannot even begin to summarize the rage I feel in light of this and it's violation of the basic right to free speech it infringes upon.ghoklebutter
Those fundamentalists happen to have views that are 100% Islamic, though. They aren't crazies who don't understand anything about Islam.
I know that and never said anything to the contrary. However, other religions encourage a lot of the same behavior you see in Islamic fundamentalism. For example, the Bible also encourages executing blasphemers.I love how the pro-lifers in this thread are using an infant formula manufacturer as their main source.
Here's what a seven week old fetus looks like:
You'll notice that the "developed faical features" that are being talked about are only referring to the fact that you can make out where the eyes and nose are GOING TO BE. You'll also notice that it has no major organs yet, although they are STARTING to form at this point. Also, take note of the fact that at this point the fetus still has webbed fins instead of legs and arms, and overall looks more like a seahorse than a human.
Also, before you try to point out that this thing does in fact look like a human, here's what a dog fetus looks like at 30 days:
As it turns out, mammal fetuses really don't differ from each other very much at this stage of development.
[QUOTE="sSubZerOo"]I have to be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the gravity gun the majority of the time.. Outside of just grabbing and flinging things or solving the occasional puzzle.. It didn't feel like something very new or interesting outside of the first 5 minutes you get it.KHAndAnime
What gravity gun have you been using pre-2004? It was incredibly impressive, especially for the time released. Such manipulation of physics wasn't conceived in games back then. It was very new, very interesting ,and very fresh.
This. HL2 is a classic example of "Seinfield isn't Funny" syndrome. These days the gravity gun and the physics don't seem like anything special at all, but back when HL2 came out the physics were far beyond anything else seen in games up to that point. HL2 was the game that single-handedly started the industry's obsession with Havok and ragdoll physics. Complaining that the gravity gun and physics in the game are underwhelming is like complaining that you don't see anything special about HL1 even though you can thank HL1 for pretty much creating the modern FPS.
