[QUOTE="Riverwolf007"]That's excellent and brings up a great point. Around here, it's PSN users complaining about Xbox Live not Xbox Live users! :0 They must be jealous they dont have the same stuff on PSN. actually us PS3 gamers couldn't be happier! We get to play online for free!here is a quick summation of every xbl vs psn debate since 2004.

[QUOTE="gameplaycontrol"][QUOTE="hoosier7"]In proper dumbed down speak, it's just how jagged a straight line will look. More/the better the AA the smoother the line. You could probably have googled it though.hoosier7So graphics are made of straight lines? Errm kind of, but not always if you understand, graphics is a very general term which AA, textures (how a surface looks), effects like particles, draw distances (how far the game shows in the world), framrate and so on look. For example a game could have very good AA but really poor textures so not have good graphics. AA simply deals with lines and edges of objects.Oh ok, so AA only applies to objects
Live is not a vast improvement over PSN. Do all the so called features and "integration" really warrant a 50$ a year price tag and does it really put xbox live that much ahead of psn? I would say no, because the experience on both services have been very similar for me( minus cross game chat, which I don't care about)except that one is free and the other is 50$ a yearFor me, it's all about 3 things:
Integration - XBL is built into the DNA of the system, right down to the OS level. Things are in logical places and easily accessible. Example being the community videos on the Community tab which are streamed from the dash. In that same location, you have the spotlight and any special events... right there.Staff - XBL staff, both policy enforcement and community related are very accessible and constantly engage the community. Example: GamerChix is a great place for my daughter and wife to go. Not to mention that policy enforcement dudes are out there and respond as soon as a major issue comes up. One need only look at the MW2 cheats and how they responded/acted.Party system - again, at the OS level, so it works no matter what you're doing. This includes cross game invites as well as chat.Mileage will vary from person to person, but those are my reasons.

[QUOTE="gameplaycontrol"][QUOTE="princeofshapeir"]I have to say that it looks legitimately amazing and a sure contender for GOTY, but I'm confident BF3 and Skyrim have a better shot. UC3 looks a lot like UC2 to me and I don't see much of a leap. More of the same isn't a bad thing if the "more" isn't utter crap, but it's certainly not GOTY material. princeofshapeirUncharted 3 is a big improvement over Uncharted 2. I see that leap, and its as clear as day UC3 may improve upon UC2 in a similar way to how AC: Brotherhood improved upon AC2, but I see Skyrim and BF3 as greater leaps from their predecessors in terms of technology and setting standards for the industry. U3 will be a bigger improvement over its predecessor then Brotherhood was lol. Did you seriously make that comparison? It is Naughty Dog after all. They are often described as perfectionists Of course Battlefield 3 will be pushing technology forward. No one can disagree. It's on a powerful new super like computer engine lol. Battlefield is rightly being praised for its graphics As for Skyrim. I'm looking forward to that game so much. But what standard is it setting for the industry? It's gameplay looks to be the same as Oblivion, not a bad thing at all, just further refined, which is what Uncharted 3 is doing. Except Uncharted is making some big refinements and improvements as well. And I'm sure Skyrim will also. But in the end both Uncharted and Skyrim will be looking to improve upon its predecessor and add refinements.
