Steals on Games

Since this is kinda the dry season for big titles I found some pretty cool games for everybody to pass the time on.

Gametap: free

Games: Hitman 1 and 2 ( 2 is really good)

Thief Deadly Shadows

Tomb Raider: Legend

Deus Ex ( really fun as well)

Goozex: trading site.

They give you one free trade and game. Which means you can get one older game for free.

If you know any other great places to get games, make sure to comment!

Thought it might be fun to make some videos with fraps. Please comment on what you think. If you would like me to put together another gameplay video of another game in my collection just ask :D

Stay Tuned for Company of Heroes, CSS, and the orginal Splinter Cell!

Best Deals

What games do you think give you the most "bang for your buck"? I would have to say,

1. Tom Clancy's Chronicles: it's $20 and it comes with rainbow six 3: raven sheild, ghost recon, and splinter cell which are all great games.

2. Bf2: For $10 you can't go wrong with this ausome FPS

3. Company Of Heroes: For $20 you get one of the best RTS's ever created

what are yours?

Good Year for 08?

Right now for me, the gaming standpoint of 08 was just so-so, however I do have a lot to look forward to. Crysis Warhead, Far Cry 2, Splinter Cell Convicition, Spore, and Red Alert 3 are just a few to name. Hopefully no delays or problems occur, especially for ones that have been halted several times *cough* far cry 2 *cough* So anyways, do you think 08 will be a good year for you?

Age of Mythology: Gold Edition

Wow, all the good things of rts's combined into one game. Let me start off by explaining what this game's setting is and time period. In this game you can pick between four factions: norse, greek, atlantian, and eygptian gods. Each faction has 3 main gods and each god has other mini gods which can have god powers for you to use later on in the game. Since this game has mythology in it's name it takes place a while back but not every unit is a monster, in fact most units aren't you can train archers, swordsman, priests, hydras and even three headed titans. Each faction is COMPLETELY different which adds more stragetgy and fun into the game. The graphics look smooth and can run decently on aged computers. The storyline is excelllent with lots of twists and turns and tons of cool maps. The scienrio editor is GREAT and let's you make ausome maps and create simple to crazily advanced campagins for yourself and friends which can be exchanged online. And yes, even though this game is slightly old, it's online is still up and running which a decent community. This game has all the great elements of an rts. Not massive like sins of a solar empire and not small like company of heroes. This game is $20-$30 and I highly recomend it

Crysis

How to describe a game this incredible? Stunning grpahics, sandbox play, and and a good multiplayer. Crysis is a game based in 2020 with you being Nomad a nanosuit soldier invading a north korean island. Lots of surprises lie in store for you. That was a brief description of the story to tell readers who don't know anything about this game. In gameplay, you could play this game at least 5 times and not get bored. 4 high tech abilities ( strength, speed, cloak, armor) not to mention a variety of vechiles and cutomizable weapons. You could go through this game like you were never there. Cloaking past KPA squads, silenced pistols, a sniper in the shadows. Check, can be done in Crysis. Like "guns abalzing" smashing through houses (litterly thanks to the Cry Engine 2) with trucks? picking up gas barrels and chucking them like crazy? choking KPA and thowing them off a cliff? shoguns pumped? check in Crysis. Multiplayer isn't BF 2 but is a nice change of pace being a high tech soldier againzt 32 other people online. I hope you enjoyed this Blog, and it just barely scrathes the surface.
