My hair isn't long enough for a hair straightener (it goes to my eyebrows if I were to brush it down after a shower) but I'd like to try straightening it. Are there ways of straightening it? Putting water and gel on it doesn't work because my hair curls up almost immediately after brushing.

Gel. or simply go to a salon. not that I know of, but I heard people do that. and they pay some money. good for the salons.
Why isn't there one of those half-tank half-car SUV's? If you need that kind of a fortress around you, you're clearly scared of something.

Well the difference between an suv and a smart car, is that you couldn't break an suv with one punch.
But you can trip it over and flip 10 times, with a swerve. youtube a video of a woman scared of a car undertook her from the right, and she just swerved little, and bam, the SUV was a wheel in its entirety.
I want to, but don't have someone to do that with. but I'm mostly want to do the kind you refused to hear about in this thread.. I once did over the internet, in a chat room. that girl enjoyed the act. but I think it is stupid after all, but funny. well lots of funny things are stupid though (;
Oh I also forgot to mention, the previous computers had Firefox 2 installed before the new Firefox 3.5, so do you think that has any bearing on the issue?

Yes, it works for me too. how about you re-install it? just trying. also you can go to mouse settings in control panel and check if there is something useful there. and No, I don't think the fact you had firefox 2 has any relation. many people including myself had firefox 2 before.
I just agree on the cube one, it always pisses me off, when I see it on the road. something wrong with it, not equal corners. seems like one of my drawings. the rest of the cars are fine
