@Dannystaples14 I agree with that. But looking at the car dynamics and the level design, it still looks like Grid 2. Grid 2 was nothing like the first Grid that came out years ago. I still consider the first Grid to be the perfect racing game with the right mix of arcade and simulation.
Definitely....not buying it for X360. It seems like anything coming from top studios since the "next-gen consoles" were released seem to be sub-par and are going backwards in terms of visual fidelity and quality. I have been thinking of getting a PS4 but we'll see.
Wow! I am so glad I didn't buy this game. Looks exactly like Grid 2 and that cockpit view is just a blurred bitmap. Not looking for an ultra-realistic cockpit view but I mean come on!
Looks like a Halo clone which I am not surprised to see. It's like Titanfall playing similar to Call of Duty except for a few game mechanics. And what's with those points emanating from an enemy with each bullet hit, looks like an arcade shooter?
Man I don't know how this new audio design of two people talking throughout the game would work. I think they should stick to traditional sound design like the Battlefield. What do you think guys?
@samdam3 Well, to be fair, car mechanics is probably not the core of this game anyway. It is one of the parts of a larger game. Much like the driving mechanics of a GTA game. Although, some would say GTA has better car play. I would probably agree with that. It is not the core of this game unlike a Need for Speed, F1, or one of the racing simulation games. So don't let the car mechanics drive you away (ha! a pun!). You may be missing out on other things that this game does well. To be honest, the car play in this gameplay video didn't look all that awful to me.
