I wish and hope you are right Danny but I don't think sales figure support your arguments. Each iteration out sells the previous one and there is every reason to believe Ghosts will outs sell BLOPS2. These games are now interwined in the DNA of regular COD fans and I don't think they will shift from their comfort zones.
If they could create new content annually that differs and freshens the experience like how bf3 was to bf2 and how bf4 is looking to do to bf3, then yes, I will happily shell out each year. But its highly unlikely 1 year is enough to do this. All it will give them time to do is polish and refine, a bit like another shooter we are all well aware of! So i am very happy with their stance on this and have more respect for them because of it.
After watching the demo at gamescom and peter browns comments on its familiar combat feel, I'm gona pass on this. It looks just the same as its 2 predecessors which isn't a bad thing but I got fed up by the end of A City and never even completed it. Therefore I could revisit that before buying this. Plus there will be way too many new games to be playing around then.
@rad8045 @AndrewClark1 yeah this is gona be an interesting contest. gta v will be open world in its purest sense. watch dogs will prob have some more focus. both will be very good.
