As greedy as developers seem, my feeling is that once this is implemented, game prices may fall as developers will see more sales money come there way (rather than gamestop) and like on steam, it will just become the norm to buy your own version of a game to your account. One things for sure, buyers will become more picky about titles they shell out on.

If Sony follow suit, my Wii U may get the dust gathered off it.
