@gr4h4m833zy: Just a PSA for anyone who takes these scores seriously. Wanted to offer a comparison so that they're not dissuaded by a 6, considering they've handed out a higher score for a clearly inferior game.
Haha yeah right. Why aren't they accepting pre orders right now? That way they can satisfy the batch of customers who wants a preorder early. And then produce a significant amount after that. Limit to 1 per user or 2 per household or something like that to prevent scalpers. If you build enough stock, scalpers won't be able to scalp.
If I make an eBay listing trying to sell a Steam copy of Synduality Echo of Ada for $666,666 will Gamespot write an article about me and say that people are scalping that game?
@stickemup: It's not a comparison. It's an observation. To help you understand where I'm coming from - it doesn't matter that Bioware is down to 100 employees. That's the point I'm making. These big companies think that more devs > less devs. And a game like Stardew Valley which is not AAA action role playing game dud like Dragon Age managed to succeed and do really well, with only 1 developer. That's my point. Whether you think that's relevant or not, the fact is it doesn't matter that Bioware has 100 employees, because that's more than enough to make a game.
Sorry John, but you're wrong buddy. Game pass is bad for game companies. It's one of the very few things that I dare to say - it's too good of a value for the consumer.... There is no way that this is healthy for the developers. Period.
@tbird7586: Nintendo can't compete .. they have their niche. They're successful, but their constantly underpowered consoles are not competing. They're in their own space. But Astro Bot beat Nintendo at their own game HARD. The weak consoles can only go so far.
How absolutely insightful of the dev and of Gamespot to post that! You mean more people having access to game and not gatekeeping games behind single platforms which limits the player base could help this ailing industry? I never would have come to that conclusion! Thank you for wise wisdom and insight you've instilled upon us all!
