@trollkind I just don't understand people who complain that sequels aren't exactly the same as the game they follow. Guess what? No-one said you cant play the older games anymore, what would be the point of making the same game again?
I am so baffled by this story, I thought it would be all over every website on the planet hat the Wii U had finally been confirmed by a named dev (that's actually working with the darn thing) that the machine is more powerful than current consoles (and that's better graphics too, btw!!!). Isn't this the exact question everyone has debated for so long? And yet, here we have the closest thing yet to official confirmation from Nintendo themselves and nothing but a few minor blogs seem to have picked up on this.
@joujou264 @inaka_rob Obvious but could be very lucrative. Basically the guy earlier was saying the Wii U was too complex and had lost its potential for simple/casual gaming experiences, but not many people seem to be talking about the fact that the biggest thing in casual gaming is touch screen games and the Wii U does seem to support that style of gaming.
@inaka_rob How about the fact that it has a suitable interface for every single casual touchscreen game available today? Angry Birds on Wii U, I say it will happen.
@joujou264 @mattcake Read it, watched the interview (about seven times), wrote a blog about it and generally reached a state of extreme anticipation for e3!
@mattcake Underpowered? Lol its going to be the MOST powerful console for at least the next couple of years! We'll see what devs have in store for us at e3...Gearbox are certainly going to be using it extensively to provide an enhanced gameplay experience. Oh, and of course the extra juice under the hood will make the Wii U version visually superior too. Doesn't sound that much like the original Wii to me. When was that ever the most powerful console on the market?
