It should be but a few short days until I am a level 6 GameSpot member! Then I can write reviews of my oh so beloved games. After that it will only be a matter of time before GameSpot hires me as a full time contributor. Or more likely, no one will read them and my efforts will have been for nothing. Actually no one reads my journal either so it will kind of be the same thing. ho hum...

Dungeon Siege II, etc...
by gcf0413 on Comments
WELL, now that its August the time for Dungeon Siege II is nigh! I hope the game play is as good as the visuals, because if it is than I will surely be wetting myself come the 16th, or maybe some time after that due to my limited financial situation. After that the proverbial avalanche of new games leading up to Christmas shall begin! Speaking of Christmas, if you're reading this Santa I would greatly appreciate the following games under my tree (in no particular order):
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
F.E.A.R.
Myst V: End of Ages
Hellgate: London
Oh and it wouldn't upset me too much to find a top of the line Alienware or Falcon Northwest under the tree either. Thanks Santa, you're the BEST!
Why Computer Games?
by gcf0413 on Comments
Well the answer to that is a simple one. There are too many consoles to worry about buying games for and the games on the consoles don't require an overwhelming amount of brain power to play. This is not to say that I have an abundance of brain power nor that I require my brain to play all the games I own, in fact I love shooting my way through a good FPS as much as the next guy. But at least on the computer I know the option is there for me to use my uh...think box. Of course the only way one can really achieve the sort of brain exercise I'm talking about is by playing some kind of strategy game since the adventure genre has essentially been thrown out the window.
P.S. I don't hate consoles either, my console game collections just grow much much slower than my computer one.
