The difference between gaming now and gaming then back in the 90s. Is that I could go to the store and purchase a game completed. Now, when you go to the store you purchase a disc which is just a license or key. When you stick it in the console you get to wait until it is done downloading the full retail copy. We did not have that problem pre sixth generation of home consoles.

I built my current rig in 2016 and it is still up and running. Yeah, the i7 6700k is long in the tooth and so is the outdated Asus ROG Strix 1080Ti. But, it still chugs through games at 4k with ultra settings. I know it can be hard to get into building a PC now with the high prices. Maybe you can look into some pre built PCs during the 4th of July specials. Checkout CyberpowerPC or look up some decent priced gaming rigs on Amazon during the current prime sale.
I swear I popped into the website to see some deals and I seen none. C'mon WiiSportsResort for 39.99 in 2021. That is like a ten year old game for a new release in 2021 price. They don't have a sale they just peddling their filth to sucker the consumer into buying old games with new game prices.
I swear my left joy con joystick drifts to the right. It is so noticeable when I am playing Mario Kart 8 deluxe. I have tried calibrating in the settings menu and that doesn't fix it. You'd think Nintendo would have controllers figured out by now. My N64 joystick on my old controller is more accurate than my left joystick on the joy con. I swear does anyone else have this problem?
I will be watching it for the crazy commercials and cool halftime show. The game is rigged by the way and you'll see who wins in the first quarter. If the refs call penalties on the Bucs or Chiefs a lot at first you'll know who is going to win.
That was my first next gen consumer console due to the price. At the time we got it the price was 199.99 and the other two were 299.99. Getting the gamecube at that hundred dollar lower price mark allowed me to get a memory card and a game for the base price of the other two consoles. The gamecube was great minus the big hitters not being on the console like GTA series, Doom, or Fight Night. I think if it had more cross platform games it would've done better than it did back then.
