Also what I meant by newcomers are the guys who don't spend 10 hours regularly every single day online. You can just pick up the game from one sunday to the next and try test your skills.
Last was prince of persia, next one of these (nba2k9, madden 09, bioshock or fallout). I am catching up with games I missed from last year. I already got killzone2, resident evil and street fighter.
What? I was off killzone for more than 10 days now, just taking a rest to finish Prince of Persia. When I came back yesterday i found no problem accessing any game because of my rank. Besides resetting ranks every week is a smart move since you get a shot at being top 1% every week which is great for newcomers. Also I think killzone 2 will receive a great feedback as it's just released 2 months ago, and already got suitable updates and one DLC. Maybe we'll need new modes soon, but it won't make a difference in the short term. I don't want them to add vehicles to the multiplayer because it will just make the game unbalanced and I like it the way it is now. Maybe they should add some new ranks with new abilities. Something like heavies or Colonel Radec. Maybe being able to bombard a certain area ... Also I never played with the RPG since I only get 2 shots. When I really want to rack up kills I use the shotgun. Or when I don't feel like blending in I use the sniper but usually I just use the tactician since you need brains to get the best out of him.
Ok, one last thing. Which teams should I watch in the NFL? I heard that the Giants are good but I am looking for teams who are technically superior. I don't care much about results. Just like Arsenal in soccer or Barcelona.

Lol, I am glad I ruined someone else's day :p. I try to platinum the game at the moment so I am not getting so many kills online (trying to get all the medals and ribbons by having side arm kills or melee) after I platinum I will be back to kick some behinds :). Oh btw if you're regularly on killzone add me to your psn friends list okay?
thx, I think along with basketball, football is really interesting. On the other hand I couldn't really get into baseball and hockey. How on earth do people follow that little puck on the ice? I watch the highlights everytime on cnn and never ever have I properly seen a goal scored. I just wait for that little lamp on top of the goal to flash.
Scianix, Rugby is brutal fullstop. These guys rarely have teeth. Doesn't seem like fun to me. I know Football is also violent but at least there are set plays and runs ... etc while in rugby people just LOVE to pile up.

There were a lot of people that thought the single player of RE5 was kind of sucky. But I do want to be clear.... I don't think the gameplay of Uncharted 2's single player would suffer. Based on what they've announced, they've already done a pretty good job of polishing up the gameplay. And that vid which leaked earlier in the month showed how good it's looking too. I think the one area where it could unravel is in the story development, or even in the campaign variety. Still... even though I'm worried... I'm hoping for the best. Uncharted 2 & GOWIII are my two most anticipated games of the year (assuming GOWIII makes it out this year). That is true, but these opinions were mostly based on the fact that resident evil stopped being a survival horror game and became an action adventure.
