So game installs is a good thing now :) but only when its on 360:P

lundy86_4

Yes because when you install on the 360 you can play the game even if the cd isn't inside can't say the same for the ps3.

Nope, pretty sure the 360 still needs to verify the disk.

You can still play it with no cd inside though.

[QUOTE="Ravensmash"][QUOTE="genaroll"][QUOTE="Ravensmash"] Haven't tried it :( You tried Apple Jack? That game is awesome!

Tried the demo didn't like it.

Fair enough :) It was pretty enough visually to grab me, and brought it because I'm finding it pretty addictive. Any other recommendations?

Theres another one where your a sniper it's headshot something. I made a zombie game is probably the most addicting indie game i ever played.

I'm sure most of the intelligent posters have realized this, but PS+ is a essentially a discount card, or a loyalty program. It has a couple other nice features (full game trials, rental games, and rental add-ons), but at its core you invest money up front to get a discount on later purchases.

You pay $50 a year to get an extra discount on a changing list of Playstation Store items. If you're planning on buying a large number of items from the Playstation store, PS+ will probably save you some money.

PS+ is simply not a comparable service to XBL gold.

XBL gold is $50/year charge to access the online component of your Xbox 360 games, and it's not really even optional if you're like me and you play the majority of your games on line; it's a requirement. PS+ is a completely optional loyalty program.

Why you starting stuff up noone is comparing live to psn anymore, that's so 2 pages ago.

Nothing can prove that until some dev drops 50-60 million dollars to dev a 360 game.

Only Sony is willing to invest that much into games.

You mean like Uncharted 2, budget was a wopping 20 million?

"the developer's ambition is apparently being backed by an equally serious 20 million USD budget"

http://play.tm/news/23252/major-budget-for-uncharted-sequel/

As apposed to xbox360 exclusives none of those games have ever received that much funding.I bet they've never had any game get over $3 bucks huh, poor 360 nobody wants to invest in it? Let's take a look...

HALO 3: 55 MILLION

"Halo franchise has been so successful for Bungie and Microsoft that they virtually had an unlimited budget on Halo 3, as it had to be the best and most impressive game in almost all aspects when it was released. It pretty much was, at a price of $55 million, which excludesover $200 million Microsoft spent promoting the game."

TOO HUMAN: 60 MILLION

"Silicon Knights abandoned the engine and started making their own - at a time when the game was almost complete. This added at least another $10 million to the budget," (:p Translation =that even minus the scrapped engine the the game still cost 50 million)

 Oh wait I just destroyed your damage control macheine, my bad

Lol why do people talk about if a game used a big budget it will look good.Gta 4 was the most expensive game ever made but it didn't look out of this world.Big budget only works with movies.

I never did like these double standards of purchasing systems. If everything is being included in a purchase, it should be like this:

For a PC, you need:

  • The parts to put together
  • A chair
  • A chair mat
  • A Monitor
  • A desk
  • Speakers
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard

For a console, you need:

  • A console
  • Extra game remotes
  • An HDTV
  • An Entertainment Center for HDTV
  • 7.1 Surround Sound Speakers
  • Couch with furnishing protection
  • Recliner with furnishing protection
  • Charging kits for remotes
  • Power Surge Extension
  • HDMI Cables

Because it's not like people do not own a TV or monitor to use for the system before they make the purchase.

Lol i never knew that people actually used chair mats.
