Let's talk about the different unique features that most of the PC games have. Some features are wonderful, others are very useful and some are just for fancy stuff. Let me give you an example. In Rise of Nations, the player can "pause" the game wherein the player can still issue orders or command his/her units and structures. It is as if it was a turn-based strategy game. With its unique feature the RTS game can also be a temporary TBS game!! It is very useful during in times of handling so much of your own men. You can think twice or thrice before deciding without compromising time against AIs. Well, that's my example.

Let us here your thoughts...

Right now, I am planning on buying the latest Macbook White. It has NVidia GeForce 9400M 256MB. Are there other laptops that are somewhat on par or higher than this performance with regards to its video card? My budget should not exceed $1,000. Aside from telling me the brand name, model and the video card, tell me also its oher benefits.

Help me widen my options...

I already added some latest games beside their minimum graphics card requirement. Sadly, the number of characters I can put on the first post is already maxed out. Thus, I'll put the other latest games with respect to their minimum graphics card requirement on another post. Too bad, Gamespot's forum has very limited number of characters allowed per post. By the way, it is a fact that there are two leading brands to these video cards. I only put the game titles beside the video cards in which it can be barely played. Meaning, it is regardless of whether it is a NVidia or ATi manufacturer the video card belongs to.

[QUOTE="sihunt"] okway what the hell? the 4850 is better than the 9800 GTX+ :evil:sihunt

Please don't get angry. Instead, give a valid reason why you think 4850 is better than the 9800 GTX+. Let's discuss not argue.

I did not say this in my post.

I'm sorry about that. It was supposed to be for GTR2addict, my mistake. Anyway, Color Code Updated!!! I'm planning to add games that need this "specific" video card as the minimum requirement.

So, better performance >>> side-by-side OSes?

Is it possible to use both like have a Windows OS on a bootcamp and at the same time have a Parallels Desktop Virtualization? My target is to have the best performance (bootcamp) and also have side-by-side OSes (Parallels Desktop or VM Ware)...

This topic will be different from others that talk about which games are great on PC. We are going to organize our thoughts so that the readers will understand, select, and compare games easier than before. We are going to categorize each part of the games overall performance. Thus, this section will most likely create quick and mini reviews of the PC games. In this topic we will limit ourselves to FPS genre. I will be making more topics like this that has the other genre on it.

This is the format on how to make quick mini reviews:

Game Title (obviously so that you can easily find this specific game by pressing Ctrl+F):

Date Released (to determine whether this game is new or old):

Its predecessor games (to know its historical background):

Its upcoming sequels (to keep track on this series):

Minimum Graphics Card (why not the whole system requirements you ask? coz this is the most important requirement in gaming):

Intoduction (to have a glimpse of the game's story):

Gameplay (the way on how you play the game):

Graphics (beauty or the beast?):

Sound (does the sfx worthy to be heard or not?):

Multiplayer (i added this coz others find it more interesting than the solo part):

Target Market (its preferred audience, mature, kids, or everyone?):

--------

Game Title:

Date Released:

Its predecessor games:

Its upcoming sequels:

Minimum Graphics Card:

Intoduction:

Gameplay:

Graphics:

Sound:

Multiplayer:

Target Market:

--------

That's the format. Any questions? Why didn't I include an overall verdict rating system? It is because rating them doesn't make any sense. One's preference may or may not be the other's preference. So having a standard is subjective. Thus, it defeats the purpose of having this topic. What I want the reader to gain is for them to knoow the inside-out of a specific game without incorporating our biased judgement with the game too much.

Enough said. Let's begin making quick mini reviews!!!

You're only allowed to create one poll topic per day.

I see. So that's why. Thanks for the info. [QUOTE="Kigbariom"]Yeah, Windows 7. Also it's a good OS

Why is it good? So it's better than XP and Vista right? How?
