Metacritic is bad, the way they convert some scores or even add scores on what they think the reviewer would want to give it if there is no score is total ****
lol wow fanboy glasses, they look the same ps3 is lead so no crappy port job, anyone that sees a difference that makes one better than the other is just in fanboy dreamland
I luv the ps3 and what games it has like R2, uncharted, mgs4, little big planet and so on, but god of war is sonys best title no doubt about it, the god of war games are so freaking Epic, going to be an awesome day when that comes out
japan is a bad market these days, no devs could make much of a profit unless it's monster hunter or final fantasy, the rest will be lucky to reach 150k
its not a market worth bothering about anymore, eu and us are the biggest fish in the gaming biz now, we left japan in the dust long ago, so im not sure why microsoft is trying so hard over there it's just not worth it
I think far cry 2 graphics on the ps3 are great, best open world graphis ull see, this isnt killzone 2 or gears of war 2 where it's linear, they only have 512mb of ram to work with and with open worlds it wouldnt be easy
would be interesting to know, how they went about making the ps3 version for sure, whateva they did it worked thats for sure ;)

Ubi Montreal was working on two versions of the PS3 build simultaneously. One was "traditional" and the other was using procedural algorithms. I've been wondering which one they used.
haha thats all ive be doing for the last hour the game turns me into a pyromaniac, Im actually suprised how well of a port to the ps3 it's been since I know going for pc to ps3 isnt the easiest of jobs all the time, ubi has done great IMO

Foliage interaction is mind blowing. I walk around setting fires and throwing grenades just to watch the foliage react.
I decided to get far cry 2 and wait for news on a patch for fallout 3 or ill just never buy it, the good thing is though after having spent a few hours with far cry 2 it looks to be a really good port, the graphics and physics are outstanding on the ps3 version.
