I'm hoping and wishing for Diablo 3, but it almost certainly be a starcraft-themed game (either sc2 or wos, both have a big chance)

It will DEFINATELY not be another wow expansion (expansions are not counted in the countdown if you havent noticed), not another warcraft titles (their last 2 games were based of the warcraft universe)

The patch improved the game tremendously, all major bugs are solved along with hundreds of minor ones

people are whining about some tweaks that they wanted and didnt get, but the game is perfectly balanced now, dont listen to them

And yes, the short campaign can be done in a day, but the long campaign will probably take you a week or more if you play casually

Thats bad news....mainly because we are gonna have to wait at  least 3 more years for this to be released, as blizzard won't release anything other than some wow espansion in this time period

also, that means our hopes for a true starcraft sequel are destroyed. and whats even worse, we can give up on diablo 3 for an undefinate period of time (well, at least hellgate: london is coming out)

depends on how much you want to commit to the game

if you plan on going all the way and collect purples with a high-end guild the answer is no

Trust me, I quit WoW for this reason, after 8 months collecting purples

of course they could, althout creating a whole new type of media for a video game hasnt worked out so well so far (gamecube and psp are clear examples)

in any case the current xbox360 would not be able to read a new type of disk; we would have to wait for the next xbox

It would be VERY interesting however, if ms decides to make some games hd-dvd, so you would need the hd-dvd player to play them (blue dragon for example, 1 hd-dvd or several dvds: being able to chose would be nice). Im not even sure if thats possible with the current hd-dvd player, but it certainly would be nice

vegas is a great game, arguably the best shooter on the 360 yet

it is way harder than what you may be used to though, being a realistic tactical shooter and all. and patient is definately required in both sp or on live if you wanna enjoy it
