I want it to have playstation in its name but not Playstation 4. something like " THE PLAYSTATION"TOTAL_DEFENSE_0

I used the same quote in another thread without having read yours first "The Playstation", just want to let you know I didnt copy you, but like they say, great minds think alike.

im not saying they should drop the name just right it like this on the console

i know what you meant, the "4" means nothing, just the fact that its the 4th console from the start, i think they will drop the 4 because like in movie trilogies, most of the time you dont have a 4th movie, either its a remake, or it follows the story but with a totally different name.

I say it will be called " The Playstation"  not any sort of remake, but the Playstation, their motto will be, " We play games, movies, music, all sorts of media, etc. etc. etc."   

i dont think they will drop the "playstation" name it may not be a 4, but IMO droping "playstation is like Nintendo dropping "Nintendo" name as well.  if its not a playstation then it will just be another media center, or small pc. 

 Now i know im comparing apples to oranges Nintendo is the name of the company, playstation is the name of the console, but the playstation name is like a household name.  I say they keep the playstation name, maybe revamp their logo

actually, he will leave the negative press with sony, and have a fresh start with M$.  and thats not all, he is just one person in several that M$ is gonna hire (or have hired) for the team to develop the real next gen console.
